Hi can anyone help me with a set up for the 24hr le mans race in an lmp1 car, ideally the best tyre pressure, i dont have time to test various ones out, thanks

This game's little too in-depth for that in my opinion.

Ambient and track temps, length of race, etc, will make a large impact on what settings you should go with as far as pressures, camber, etc.

Next, all the lmp1 cars a different, each with vastly different handling characteristics.

Last, lmp1 cars, like the Formula cars, have varying levels of performance that can be unlocked based on driver skill. A fast LMP1 car is not necessarily easy to control, a stable one not necessarily fast. It really depends on your preference, style, and skill level.

Ahhhh great! Cheers mate I'll find some time to play around

@Cafferz -- According to SMS, the ideal target pressure for the LMP slicks once the tires are all warmed up is around 1.80bar (26psi) front and rear, maybe a little higher for the long straightaways of Circuit de la Sarthe, like 1.90bar (28psi). It's in a quote from the official forum in another thread, but I formatted the list to my liking:

Project CARS 2 - Optimal Tire Pressures When Tires Are Hot

Road Cars
2.10bar to 2.20bar front and rear (29psi to 32psi)

Light Sportscars (Radical, BAC, KTM, etc)
~1.60bar front and rear (24psi)

Touring Cars & V8 Supercar
2.00bar to 2.15bar front and rear (29psi to 31psi)

Modern GT, Vintage GT, LMP
~1.80bar front and rear (26psi)
As low as 1.60bar (23psi) for a slow track
As high as 1.90bar (28psi) for Circuit de la Sarthe

Formula Cars (IndyCar, FX, FA, FR3.5)
Road Courses: 1.70bar front / 1.45bar rear (24psi / 21psi)
Oval Tracks: Up to 3.10bar on the right side (45psi)

Vintage Group 6 & Formula
1.70bar to 2.00bar front and rear (25psi to 29psi)
As low as 1.20bar to balance "something wild" like the Lotus 72D (17psi)

Ford Fusion
Road Courses: 2.40bar to 2.60bar front and rear (35psi to 38psi)
Oval Tracks: Up to 3.10bar to 3.45bar (45psi to 50psi) on the right side

I printed this out for reference and keep the sheet in my gaming corner.
