PD, please change the "Bumper-View" Sound

I would be happy with roof cam sounds in bumber view. Hood view would be the best option.

I agree that bumber cam is fairly realistic in sound perspective, but who would want to only hear radiator fan noise and transmission noise. More realistic would be the hood cam where the sound would likely be fine even with current modelling.
 
The current bumper view mix (2-channel, I mean) would be greatly enhanced with intake noise! I just wish those sound designers got a grip on this issue, I've been waiting since GT2 for proper engine sounds! :crazy:

The exhaust is only part of the solution.
Nice illustration here. Even with a screaming race-exhausted V12, the intake noise is highly prominent - even from behind! Sort it out PD! (Please. :))

However someone pointed out that people would mix them wrong and upload it to you tube and make GT look/sound bad.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that this thread exists because GT is making GT look/sound bad. So giving the gamers some options cant really hurt too much.
