That word doesn't have to be "word." "Work" works just as well.

That semicolon works just fine where it is. It could have been a comma, and if I wanted the sentence to be read differently, I could have changed it; it would be just as legal either way.

I see nothing wrong with the grammar in any of that sentence. You're supposed to double-space after a sentence. Or at least my parents' taxes paid a teacher to tell me that all year.

And I never said I was a good candidate to judge people by their typing. I, myself, type way too quickly and don't correct errors thoroughly enough because I have a short attention span.

It goes after because the period isn't included in the phrase "dumb". One says that people always say "You're Dumb." In that case, which makes zero sense, because I'm horrible at constructing sentences, the period goes inside the quotation marks. You have stupid English teachers.
