I swear some people on this game are pathetic & take it to seriously.

I wanna know all your views & good or bad experiences you've had with people.

Here's mine which really annoys me because people are so selfish nowadays.

I love playing nascar but unlike some people i dont take it really seriously, i dont care if i win or lose, its the race i enjoy.
Anyway, all i want is a good setup but... 40/45 people i've asked dont help in anyway. So what if it took you hours, pass it on, if i had a good setup i would post it up asap so everyone can have fun, i dont give a shoot how long it took me.
People need to get a life instead of racing on here in "TEAMS" every hour they're awake. It's ridiculous.

I guess it's more along the lines of bumping someone in the rear(unfortunately a host), and apologizing and still being kicked and banned..
 
There's a whole tuning forum here for exactly this. So I don't get what your complaining about.

As to the being serious part, this isnt NFS. Some people come here to play, others (like myself) come here to race. Play the game your way and respect and don't interfere with my way. If you can do that then most people will help you out, I would if I gave two poops about stock cars.

there's some good tunes but im looking for nascar ones but like i said no one helps out with the good tunes. Ive tried like 80% of ones ive found & tbh there ok but not great.

I respect people who help out & if i had the time to spend hours trying out different settings i would & i would give them out but i dont so cant.

The thing is tuning is mainly about preference. If you can't find one your think is perfect then you have to put in the work yourself. Take one that's good and tweak it until it is perfect. 'Tis the only way

Then tune one your self, thats why you are graced with that huge setup menu system and sepperate sheets etc. use it 👍

But ive found lowering the front spring rate a good 4 clicks really helped my #48 lowes turn sharper and harder yet more smooth, especially on road courses.

if i had the time i would, i know it sounds stupid but with college, work & TA, i dont wanna spend my free time tuning cars when i could be racing them.

And when did you become the "standard" of what's reasonable?
It's racing, the goal should be to win, even if yours is just to have fun, you should be able to respect that some people don't want to lose their "edge".
And I give away my tunes for free.:sly:

i dont really care tbh, i got bout half way, this glitch came along so i thought i might as well. But at least i aint the kind of cheat that spins people & cut corners.

The game that people take to serious is Call Of Duty, not GT5 IMO.

i probably didnt make it 100% clear of what im on about. I dont mean people that are determined to win & race their best, i mean people that think they're great because they have a "team" or have a go at people if they lose.

I dont expect people to understand my point fully but to see where im getting at if you know what i mean.
 
Where is Seriously? Somewhere outside Humourville I guess? And why don't they have GT5 already?
 
This game is very serious to some people, look at Lucas Ordonez now being world champion with his team in LMP2 and guess what, he started by winning GT academy on this game. For some others this game isn't anything more than any other game but you can't judge for any other person than yourself.

Just my opinion.
 
I have no problem at all with how anyone plays the game, seriously or for fun. You paid for it and the PS3.

I do think some people on here take themselves too seriously though, you can't even have a laugh without being 🤬 for it.

I'm not really a part of any "team" as that's not really something I'm big into outside of organized series, but to each their own.

As for "having a go at people if they lose", I'm not sure if you mean them trash talking after winning or crashing you because you're winning.

Either way, maybe re-word the OP and you'll likely get more positive responses, it reads as though you're having a go at anyone that takes racing in GT5 seriously.
Jus sayin'.

The best thing you can do, if you want "tuning secrets" is have a go, adjusting one setting at a time to min and max to get a feel for what they all do, and how they work together, the easier way is to read all the theories in the tuning guides here.
If you read these, and still don't know what to do, best of luck, lots of good stuff in there. You'll just have to test and see what you agree with and what you find untrue.
 
My tunes are copyrighted. Lol. The only thing I could add to the conversation would be to relax and enjoy the game finding your own way. We are all unique, but I'm always willing to help. What track do you need help with?
 
TBH I have 3 tunes im proud of, at the start of the game aint no way youre having them. Now Im a bit more open to it, but I still like them to myself. I like being the only person I know with a wheelie-ing R32 or a daihatsu that out runs a lister storm

I completly understand what this kid is saying. He has asked for a tune and poeple would rather be dicks then help I mean it sounds childish but if u don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all. In my experience reading the tune forum it seems to me that people would rather take the time out of the day to say go 🤬 yourself and learn it on ur own. Then to help someone by giving a tune on a forum that was most likely designed to help people with the game. I mean what would a tuning forum be about if noone helped? Well it would be a bunch of little kids saying my cars the fastest. Come one people if someone has a question about how to tune a car let's help them at least point them in the right direction to get started. Not just say it's a secret learn it on ur own.

I take it seriously when somebody damages my car, I will throw them out due to one scratch..
