Perfect Balance's Gallery (Update: LIME GREEN Lowrider Dodge Ram /Please look.)

ok guys I'm going to try what some other guys do, with the banners.(it's raining at le sarthe)(All of these pics were photoshopped in some way, mostly sharpen, brightness, and contrast.)Please tell me what you think. :)

original banner pic.

Some tips on how to photoshop:

Try to resize your pic to 900 by X, it's still big enough but hides errors too.

Try to add some blur, mainly on the road so we don't see pixels.

I'm in no position to speak, but don't overdo your picture!:p

Thanks for the tips, I can't really put blur on seperate parts of the pic because im using a crappy program. I'll have to just make it as blurry as I can in gt4 before I upload them to the computer. But I'll try to find a way. 👍 I'm still new at this.

Ok well IMO this is your best update yet. Not because of what cars you used, or how you composed your shots, but because they actually have colour. I know you couldn't help it, but I really hate how in GT4 the pic looks great, then on your comp the colour is flat and your pic looks grey. Whatever you did to some of those pics put the colour back. Good job. A few more tips above what Div said is try setting the brightness in GT4 way higher than you'd think. Put the white balance either into the blue, or orange at least one click and use a slower shutter speed. This will help make the pic look better on your comp. You may have to play around a bit to find what suits you best, but when you find your style your pics will be great. One last tip is that when you get your pic on your comp, to adjust the contrast/brightness. It's amazing what a little contrast can do to your pic. With that info I hope to see some great shots from you as I can tell you're really having fun with the pics.

Thanks for the comments. Yea I did adjust the contrast and brightness, thats why they have more color in them. I usually put the brightness around .8 or 1. The reason some of them look dark is because I wanted the evening feeling because the cars have thier lights on.

Div is back said that my yellowbird pic was washed out.......So i did the best i could to fix it......And here it is.
the original

and the fixed verion

(a little green but that was the best way to get rid of the foggy looking stuff.
I could do a better job but im too lazy right now.

Getting better.

I noticed in your Nike shoot that some of the shots had the aperture way too high.

Blurry background with a bit less detail > Sharp ugly pointy background.

Dude, Your gallery is looking grreat, I can see your pics are getting better and better... Very cool...

Have you checked out my update in my gallery... Got some nice Tarmac Rally battle pics in there... ;)

Thanks for the comments guys.
I probably won't be doing any updates today because I let my friend borrow my program that I use to fix the pics up a little bit, and I need the cd to use it. :indiff:

Yea I left a comment.(you should crop that pics of the litter and make it like a banner to put on the firstpage, or stick it in the directory.)

very nice gallery, just had a browse through it and you can see improvement with every batch. 👍

the lemans pics are really good. i read the comments div left and i tend to agree with him on the advice.

Also if you can get your hands on a copy of PS, its worth it cause thats were the magic really occurs. the great thing about photoshop is that you can take great shots like what you have there and add that little extra to make it something really special.... the layer tool and levels tool become your best friend and reflections start to appear really clearly on teh cars.

after saying that however, you first need to be able to take great shots with good composition and well..... your already doing that .... keep it up dude.

Ok people, heres the next big update.(20 pics) These were done kind of quick so I didnt't really look into each one. Please comment, good or bad. 👍

Awsome, the mines skyline pics are really good. great angles.

re: ps7, it's perfectly fine and will cater to all your editing needs. I use PS 7.0 as well. :)
