At least not the R34 Skyline. If you look carefuly you'll notice the roof and the windscreen is a bit off compared to the real life model.

It's not a big problem though but it's not perfect as someone stated in another thread..

No, the Demo was a demo. this is the Prologue to GT5.

Also the Citroen C4 isn't well made.
In fact the center of the wheel is firm when you drive the real car. But in game all the C4's wheel turns.

oh my god... you're right about the Skyline! And its authentic blue color is not quite the same blue as a real life skyline! I don't know much about the Citroen C4 tho... are the colors authentic?

seriously...

The colours could entirely depend on your TV setup.

But I do agree with the overall shape of the R34 being a little off, but it's pretty darn close.

Got Proof? Pictures? anything would help.

has anyone noticed when you change gear in the F40 the drivers right hand goes through the steering wheel?

GT5 must be a brilliant game as these small things are whole 'topics' lol

You can tell that some cars are more detailed and have had time spent on them than others.. Particularity cars new to the series seem to have more work than existing ones that were in GT4...

PD are only copying what is true in real life ..... jk;)

i was being sarcastic...

I remember PuTTe_TuTTe bringing up this very subject in another thread some time ago. I just don't see why it has to be discussed again, other than the thread opener feeling the need to say something to fill up the internet.

Yeah this is getting very a bit extreme, I've read several threads now that are complaining about tiny inconsistencies like this, I did notice the steering wheel in the Citreon and I was very very slightly annoyed but then I realised had they had put in the "stationary" steering wheel at least 3 or 4 new threads would have popped up here and all across the internet with nieve people giving out that the "steering wheel dosent move in the C4, how could PD be so stupid to over look such an obvious thing"!!!

I will never buy a GT game again, because of this..... *kuch*

This thread is worthless without picture proof...

At the end of the day, when your racing, wtf does it matter?

👍

Agree, I'ts not like a mistake that car has 2 wings in the back.

Maybe a sticky saying: "Complain Here!"

But thinking for a sec, it wouldn't do much good, as most people don't read them anyway.
Even the thread(s) for general discussion is(are) almost dead, as many members don't know how to ask a question unless it's the 1st post of a new thread.

Only to a certain extent... why don't we all race on tracks with a big blue screen as the scenery if you don't need any environmental eye candy when your racing right?

I personally don't mind if a cars a bit off here and there or its a bit lower res on one model or another as long as its not looking like something from the PS1 its fine!

As it is GT5P's graphical realism already surpasses any other driving game out there so until someone does better we can't really complain...

However it is a notable point that some car models don't appear to be as well made as others...

I think the C4 really caught PD off guard and I don't think their code allowed for this. To people who have no clue what we are talking about, it is something much major that you might think, as you will have to stare at that mistake the entire race if you race in cockpit view.

Where else will you see such weird design? only in Citroen. I do not think this will ever be fixed unless they come up with another piece of code just for this steering.

"the roof-line is off"? jesus. at least the car models dont look like 8th grader doodles like the ones in Forza 2.

So I see PuTTe_TuTTe is complain, and CREATED a useless Thread since he did not even responded to any of us in here.. what a waste of space.

That citroen looks cool. I like how the steering wheel doesn't move. We don't have those in USA.

Ok I think a lot of you guys are exaggerating a bit. Its not like the thread starter is yelling up and down this forum moaning and groaning about his skyline isnt modeled exactly like the RL counter part. BIG DEAL! the guys got a good eye! Since GT3 I thought the cars were 1:1 copies of the RL ones! I for one admire people who pay attention to details.

Good find man...jeez

News flash! You don't have any interesting cars in the US OF A.

As for the modeling... who cares? It even says in the start up screen that the models arn't 100% perfect to real life.....or something along those lines. Quick someone turn on GT5-P!

He didn't. But if you check his thread and post history, he pretty much rolls out his whole life here, so it may happen that people become a bit picky over time.
