The Toyota 7, Veritgo, Cobra and a few other cars I can't think of at the moment are very close to having more power than is wise as stock. Tune the engine up and they are a real handful, rather like the old Turbo era F1 cars could be under qualifying boost.
It makes sense, to me at least, that the harder it is to drive fast, the lower the pp, and also makes sense that some people can manage that extra power while many others cannot.
I love driving my fully tuned Cobra, (With supercharger!) but it's a real handful on a twisting track and I spend a lot of time fighting to keep on the black bits with part or no throttle on, lots of steering input and sweat!
