I'm thinking of putting up the car's I was going to trade,to clear my schedule. what do people think?

Good question. :)👍

Some posts ago they said the drivers loosing their clothes (resetted to the basic white ones). That's it. Your bobs are still there.

But I don't know what happens to the drivers cash & their online status. :confused:

My bobs all had the same gear on, and still had race money earned.

I would without a doubt redeem my money before doing this. A few weeks ago I reloaded a save before the racing gear update and wiped out 80M. I would imagine this would be the same thing.

NOTE: Doing this new method does remove some of the car thumbnails :( which sucks if you have a lot of cars.
 
Your Bspec drivers will in themselves be fine, their levels and stats untouched. Just the suits and helmets they were wearing (and you were wearing) when you deleted game data will be lost - not back to basic suit, they are randomised. Simple fix -> swap all drivers to a helmet and suit you dont like.
 
Gonna move my PS3 downstairs by the wifi! Hopefuly it won't take six hours anymore to do the updates! That shows how good my internet is!

yeah thats the one lol i forgot what it was called but u got the jist of it :D
all my stealth and chromelines from teh sig edition just need redownloading which takes next to no time and means i can just move all my cars over from my old main to my new one without having to wait a day each time

I have also noticed that I keep 'Winning' my Mercedes 190 E 2.5 Evolution from one of the special events. got 4-5 of them now for some reason.

Getting silver at the AMG Academy.
You will also get the CLK LM car everytime if you golded the AMG Academy

EDIT: I speak from experience on this is I already had the AMG events golded and got the cars everytime I have sponged.

You can't, it's limited to the speed of your internet.
Unless you try the dual PS3 trick, but then you wiill still have to download part of the updates.
You can try praying to the 'godz of teh interwebz' to see if it helps speed up the process.

For your info, my experience - Sponging with 2 PS3s:
Downloading first part (608 MB) does not fix the "Can`t save on USB-stick"-problem. I`m doing the second part (301 MB) right now...
And I have a very very very.... poor interwebz connection :trouble:
