Im looking for a 0/0 X2010 Proto and S Vettel, and if possible a 0/0 Falcon XR8....please help, last 3 cars I need to finish my untradeable part of my collection

nm...guess I'll never own the proto, just read that if your save file is larger than 4165 kb I will lose all my other stuff if i do this

how many cars do you think I'd have to delete from my garage to knock out 900kb?

Seen people go on about the file size and yes its a pain for some of you out there who want to get them rare cars but its a little too big is your save file.?

So lets see if there is a way round it for some of you.
Firstly look at your save see what size it is. If its not the 4165? Then you may be ok.
If not try open another account on your PS.
Then take your main account and transfer things like Suits/Helmets over to it. That should free up some space. (Plus no limits means you can send the lot?)
Also look at the ITEMS you have like PARTS you can always buy them again but can you get the rare car you want, So sacrifice them and then when you do have the car just buy the parts again at a later date.
If your not an avid collector also try losing some Paints Horns or Museum Cards, They can make room for you glitching your cars.
This is only theory but until some one trys you,ll never know if that rare car is only just out of reach?
Things like this may constitute to a larger save file?

EDIT: Would also like to point out that getting rid of cars to get the rare one you want.
Would be best to get rid of premiums has they can easily be bought in the NEW CAR DEALERs rather than the harder to find UCD cars?

I tested out my idea of deleting/selling cars with a backup save....from what I saw it basically worked out to:
1 Premium Car = 1-2kb
I sold 47 premium cars and it freed up about 81kb of space, figured with seasonal payouts there is no reason not to do this, going to try moving all my suits/helmets next, but I only have about 110 in total atm, I think all the Museum card reading is what killed my file size.

Just sucks cause there is only the 3 cars i previously metioned that I really want to d this for right now, and really only 2 of them are unobtainable any other way.

Plus if others do the self same trick by moving things to an alternative account then they can have a full set of all the rare cars and what ever colours they come in. No point missing out on them.
Plus its one in the eye for the DAM trade limiting.?

Yes its quite a good way for many to get a little something back when they have lost there save. đź‘Ť good thing its around?

Plus the trade cap has always niggled me. 1 Car per day. Ouch.
Now if its was lifted to has many cars has possible but a price limit per day it would definately suit the collectors rather than grabbing bucket loads of expensive cars.
Just to send all the colour variants of the Plymoth Cuda,s would take 27 days. But value wise it doesn,t come close to sending 1 Red Bull X1? Or anything else with that sort of value.?
Just a shame they implemented the way they did.

Yep,totally agree,I glitched 30-40 cars in about 5 days? it also gives you 5 paints and museum cards per car so another advantage?
 
If I have multiple accts on my PS3 do I need to back all of the game save files, or only the acct which I am saving the glitch car to?
 
I would recommend all of them but you only NEED to do the one you're saving the glitched cars to.đź‘Ť I would say back up your other PS3 accounts using subs but save the glitching account to a usb.
 
So if i borrow my friends X1 Proto this will work? And will i lose my chromeline cars?

Also if anyone can answer this for me. After i did this some of my cars dont show their pictures but i still have them. I did this glitch for the Proto X1 so will this last forever or just for now or what? Its not big deal just kinda wierd

You'll just have to "create thumbnail" for the cars that are missing pictures. Just however the arrow over the car, press triangle, then select "create thumbnail." Also yes you'll have the X1 Proto forever.

i have lots of cars for anyone to do this, like bmw lmr v12, bentley speed 8, both 0/0
