If you want I can share it, you take it, save your game and erase your savedata (what the game is in itself, not the cars and that stuff)

What would I have for it?
 
OK, this isn't really trading...it's copying a borrowed car from someone who is willing to share. This is referred to as a 'sponge glitch'. The OP of this thread explains how this works. :)
 
I've re-installed my game data so I'm no longer a sponger now :lol:, but if anyone is in need of any cars, let me know what you need, send me a FR and I'll fire them up 👍
 
Ok I've something to add to the FAQ here, at least, I can't find it mentioned.....

If you have Chromeline cars, the data for it is stored in the Game Data Utility, i.e the data you delete to sponge (not the savegame data] so once you delete that, you will lose your Chromeline cars (and possibly Stealth cars too?)

Now, you can probably re-enter the codes again (does it expire like the stealth car code?) but the way I got around it was to backup the entire hard drive with the PS3's backup utitilty, do the sponging, backup my new savegames, and then restore the HDD backup (which restores the game data and it's chromeline data) and then restore the backed up gamesaves.

Next time you login, bingo the chromeline cars are back.

Q. Wait, so you're telling me I will lost my DLC cars if I do this?!
A. No, all you have to do is re-download them when you are done.

Q. How do I re-download them?
A. Yes. Sign in to PSN. 'Go to Account Management.' Then 'Transactions Management.' Then 'Download List.' Just search through that list and re-download them. If you did a game share from someone elses account, well you can't get them back, unless you have access to that account again.

hahah i got all Stealth/Chromelines from the Signature Edition i got for £50 :D buddy is manager of local gamestation when they had 2 in reduced so put one to side for me. also got the chromeline Jag off facebook.

I do give up with forums sometime tho lol they like flypaper for idiots
