Personal BGM not working with career replays.

My Personal BGM works during replays of seasonals but not career mode. It also works in "demo" mode. It's much improved since the game first came out, but still hit or miss. Update 1.03 didn't help. I don't use music while driving, but enjoy it during replays. Is there a way to get this to work?
