This year's Petit Le Mans is the 13th one held and the continuation of the Peugout VS Audi battle. It's also the second round of the new Intercontinental Le Mans Cup. The first round in Silverstone went Peugout and Anthony Davidson's way, as did Petit's Qualifying session. But as proven at the Le Mans 24 Hours, Audi seem to have reliability on their side, so this should be intresting.

I'm hoping for an Audi win only because of Anthony Davidson driving for Puegot, and the incident that happened between him and the Vette at Le Mans.

Thumbs up for the Flying Lizards here. I think they need to finish tenth or better to take the title, but the constructors is quite close; only a point!

So far this year the GT racing has been at its best; absolutely amazing stuff to watch each round. 👍

For those interested:

Live Timing
Radio LeMans
Live Stream

SpeedTV to begin broadcast at 11:00 AM Eastern Time. Rooting for BMW for the constructors championship! Also Keeping an eye on the 911 GT3R Hybrid

Also Motors TV in UK.

Have to feel sorry for the Radical boys, broke down after 5 laps. Looks like the #23 GTC class car has crashed at last corner and caused the saftey car to come out. Liked clint field getting in front of one of the R15+'s for the first 3 or 4 laps ;)
BTW I belive the porsche hybrid is technically a GT3 class car so not sure how it'll compare too the GT2 cars.

The GT2 Jaguar just got a tyrepuncture at the first turn, has too do the whole lap with it now. :(

Whats with all these tire punctures?

The graphics on Motors TV from SPEED TV are saying the #90 is out of the race. :(

So the Manufacterers title for BMW is over then. Now its Ferrari vs Porsche.

Edit: just relised that for the 2nd straight year, this is flag-to-flag coverage. Big props to SPEED for trying it again 👍

between 22:15 AND 23:20 it's WRC highlights in the UK, can you guys keep me posted then?

So far, the only big issue is the 04 car getting a penalty for too many men over the wall and the Porsche Hybrid appears to be having wear problems on the rear tires. Other then that, nothing much.

Edit: Spoke too soon. 69 car spins on the front stretch, get away with no damage despite this happening fast.

Thanks RACECAR but I meant later on, what time is it there?

It'll be 4:15PM your time when our transmission ends, sorry didn't think of time over the world :)

No problem. I'll keep you posted when the time comes.

#9 Audi just had a near miss at turn 10A with the #89 LMPC car. Down to 4th. BTW Thanks RACECAR

The #9 Audi R15 has crashed!

Edit: According to live timing, the #90 BMW is back out, 38 laps behind the leading GT2. Hope the #92 can get in the mix.

More woes for the #9 Audi as front of car gets ripped off by high kerb going down to turn5(?) Managed to keep going but has lost 1-2 Laps in the process.

Saftey car out.

The #6 LMP2 Porsche has had some kind of incident with his left front wheel, And the Oak Racing LMP2 Got involved with the #911 Porsche Hybrid. #6 may get in trouble because it parked on the turn 7 racing line to bring out 3rd safety car of the day.

Apparently a Golf-cart nearley crashed into the #9 in the paddock, #08 made a stupid lunge on the #7 Audi and spun into 10a. Hope you like my updates ;)

#99 LMPC car gone into paddock for repairs (watch out for golf carts!)Title contender Gunnar Jennatte said there was a lot of "play" in the steering rack. Looks like that title is heading Scott Tucker's way.

Anyone know of other internet streams? justin.tv is maxed out for my country..

If you refresh it comes back. Don't SPEED or Motors (the one I'm watching on TV) have their feed available in their own sites?

EDIT: Capello is doing an amazing stint, closing on Davidson !!!!

Speed has one, it's just onboard of 2 cars and one camera on pit road though.

I'm watching the race right now. Good deal of action taking place at Petit Le Mans. It's tough to believe this is only the 13th edition of this great race. Anyone who may be new to sportscar racing may think this race has been around for decades, but this has been around since about 1998. What a rise for PLM, though. Having this as an Le Mans Intercontinental Cup round only makes it sweeter.

I haven't had much time to really study the Porsche Hybrid, but it is a very fascinating car. Enjoy the race!
