I love Petit Le Mans and the Road Atlanta Track ever since I raced there (the full 10 hours) in the old PS2 "Le Mans 24 Hours" game.

In fact, I know this track and each of its corners by heart. Love it, all those blind corners and elevation changes make Rd. Atlanta one of my favourite tracks worlwide.

Is the guy commentating together with John Hindaugh the same guy that commentated the '98 and '99 24 hours of Le Mans on Radio Le Mans?

A lot of memories suddenly came back!

#92 BMW less than 40 seconds from the first GT2.

Edit: Caution #5

There's a problem with the Dyson-Mazda-Lola which is behind the wall.

Last race for the F430 Race Car. Next year, it should get replaced with the 438 Italia LM Race Car. Also for 2011, Audi is returning with two teams: one in LMP2 and another in one of the GT classes.

As for this race, that #92 BMW is fast. Maybe he'll be able to catch the Porsche.

Im thinking Corvette needs to get rid of Collard as there 3rd driver for the #4. As soon as he took over for Gavin he just didn't seem to have the pace of Jan or Olivier and has been losing positions.

Not the last race for it, the third race of the ILMC in China, plus the 360 & 430 raced for a year alongside each other at least in LMS & The 24Hour, ALMS I can't remember. But the F430 GT2 has life in it yet. :)

Edit: BTW it's 458 :)

Another caution because luis diaz's LMPC conked out at the top of the Esses.

BMW in 2nd in GT2!!!!

Right. That's what I meant to type. :dunce:

And yes, the F430 might still be raced by a couple teams for at least part of the season, but I would think both Risi and Patron to quickly swap to the 458. Winter Testing begins in February at Sebring, and I'm sure they've been testing the 458 between races already.

But, with rule changes and things...including Mercedes testing the SLS GT3 Race car, it'll be interesting to see who else will appear in the 2011 ALMS series. (Just don't expect Merc to enter the 24 Hours of LeMans if they do enter ALMS. They're understandably scared of that track)

Peugeot all the way. :)

Speaking of which, those cars put out a lot of exhaust! I thought it was tire smoke until the commentator said something.

Also, Go BMW! 1st place in GT2.

Aww. Still, the Bemmer (or is it Bimmer? I can't remember which) is really fast in this race.

I also like how when the cars go under the bridge before the start/finish line, the camera zooms in on the Tequila Patron sign.

Edit: #40 Ford GT crashed into tire wall, Yellow flag. Also, the live timing is showing that the two Jags are out.

What the hell happened to the #7 Audi? Why isn't it leading, or in 2nd anymore???

Except that the same incident won't happen to a front engine GT car ;)

so whos going to run out of fuel in GT2? Risi and the Lizards are going to be cutting things close

I want to be there right now. I love ALMS races and night would be awesome. We didn't stay until night fall at Le Mans a few years back, but I think it'd be awesome.

Risi runs out of fuel and corvette wins!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dammit, Peugeot got it.

Corvette wins GT2. :)

Sounds like next year's going to be exciting. New Audis in both LMP and GT classes, Lamborghini's in, new Riley, the Ford GTs will have a new sponsor, new Ferraris, a new race, new rules...lots of things.

Sucks for Ferrari. Just not enough fuel on the slash an go. Probably about a second longer and they would have made it.

What an awesome race. Wished the P1 results would have been closer but the awesome GT2 battle all race made up for that. Its going to be a long winter waiting for Sebring and an awesome season to come next year with all the changes being made with new Ferraris, Lambo's and Panoz the extra Jag and Ford GT. the GT class with be insane next season.

Also can't wait to see what Puegot and Audi come out with next year.

And a very dominant race from Highcroft Racing they earned that win no doubt about it. A flawless race for them.

I feel sorry for Risi but it was good for Corvette. I can't believe the season is over I missed the majority of it this year :(

Three in a row for Bergmeister and Long!

I,m a bit annoyed Audi didn't win but, what a race!!

:censored:ing Speed Channel! :censored:ing DirecTV!

I watched 8-9 hours of the race, only to find my recording missed the last 10 laps. I have no idea who won! I have to come here to find out!

So, what happened in the last 10 laps, or so? Anything good?

Yeah the Ferrari ran out of gas and the Vette won, in GT.

That's all that changed in the last 10 laps.

Well, I guess one victory is better than none. It's a shame I missed their one and only victory. Figures...
