This is a Petition to bring back nos from gt4 to gt5. I dont know if I will use it as much as I believe, but I would like it as an option to still have,
And a small detail,
The kilometer gauge on the heads up display to return as well.
Bump please if you feel the same with me.
 
Besides.. we Don't need NOS in Gran Turismo 5
 
Ya, I know what you guys saying,

TO EACH THERE OWN, no one said you need nor will you use it.
This started all because I was watching on YouTube, gt4 video, guy in a Toyota one lm RCar. At the driving park test track, reaching 717.7 km/h. Something like 450mph. He went around the first huge bank turn, and engage nos in the tunnel, starting speed 450k/h to 717.7 at the finish, would be nice, to experience something fast like that, without hoping on to the redbull x2010

How many real racing series, professional or otherwise do you know that allows NOS?

GT5 doesn't need Nitrous, let alone NOS.

Why, you can install it onto cars in real life, and if GT5 is the Real Driving Simulator, why not include more Real Mods. If they did include it, they'd be bound to put an option to ban it from online rooms
 
So many people in drag racing would abuse it....
 
Nitrous, NOS is a brand. I guess you can blame Fast and Furious for that. I wouldn't mind seeing nitrous actually, but people would abuse it for sure and i'm sure if it was going to be included, it would have been in GT5 from day one.

I would like for nitrous to be added. There are online restrictions for tuned cars already in place if you're against it. And I'm sure adding things like this can only attract more non-sim gamers. This is a game after all and we know There are already online restrictions for tuned cars, so PD has, or will, have that taken care of.

person who said the thing about people adding it to F1 race cars, well, that's obvious. no **** it won't be allowed :dunce:

Fixed that for you. Because, you know, GT4 had nitrous so stop it with this anti-NFS garbage.




I'm also amazed by the amount of people who are saying it would be abused online, as I can't think of any logical basis by which that makes any sense other than "I don't want it because I don't like it because NFS had it."

If GT just had even a fraction of the tuning/mod options found in NFS games, the franchise would be so much better off.

Never understand the "go and play NFS" crap that some in the GT community spout out. Not sure how such an attitude is supposed to help Polyphony and GT stay as big as possible.

👍 Agree with you so much, I never understood the atitude of these people that tell you to go play another game if you want something added into Gran Turismo that another game uses.
 
It could be quite good although I personally think DRS and KERS would be better!
