I'm also amazed by the amount of people who are saying it would be abused online, as I can't think of any logical basis by which that makes any sense other than "I don't want it because I don't like it because NFS had it."
+1mil
But..by billion light years away my favorite point is....drums.... "it isnt realistic".....
I have a redbull x1 with 120.000 Racing klm with ZERO oil changes. how realistic is that?
How realistic is to crash to a wall with 300kph?
How realistic is to turn visual damage or mechanical damage on/off?
How realistic is to get 520kph with a 2J cause you were drafting?
How realistic is to have 1000 cars in your garage?
How realistic is to have infinite number of LF-A's when in real life toyota will make only 500?
Here is an idea lets start making petitions/threads asking from PDi to remove Grand Valley, Trial Mountain, Route X etc cause they are not "real or realistic"...
Someone mentioned "formula with nos will be unrealistic"... to change rims in a F1 is unrealistic also or to add turbo and so on and guess what? you cant!
I wonder what stops Polyphony making NOS available only for certain cars?
or what stops PD adding a permitted/forbidden option to online lobbies?
Both points (online abuse and unrealistic) are galacticly stupid, with zero logic, zero valid points, zero data, whats so ever.
btw...if you want to quote 1st answer to the following 2 questions with facts and hard data.
1st - Why my 120k klm X1 is more realistic than a nitrous oxide system installed to a VW beetle or to an LM car?
Cause as you may know, there is no redbull in real life and neither there is an oil or an engine that can handle 120.000 racing klm.
On the other hand if you can afford to buy or build an LM car there is nothing to stop you if you want to install NOS....
Yes the engine may fall apart and you wont be allowed to enter a race.....BUT the same goes for the x1's engine, by now the engine should have turned in to charcoal and it shouldnt be allowed to enter a race in first place.
2nd - what stops PDi to add a simple online rule and make NOS available only for some specific cars?
My point for all this, is that GT5 now matter how you look at it, you like it or not
is a game!
