Are there any differences between the two Peugeot race cars? I'm considering buying one and would like to know if there are any differences or if it's just the appearance.

Yes I think you can feel a difference if you want control go for blue and speed to for matmut to put it simply I was surprised to find the blue one handled better because I thought they would be the same.

Can you do me a favour then?
If you have both cars, check what their default setup is?

I;m corrently driving B-spec so can;t reach the cars for the next eehh 20 hours or zo.

So the blue one is better then?

I think they feel different but yeah they are the same. EDIT Interestingly Matmut driver got the 908 to win 2010 Le Mans

But there is no difference in performance then?
A big yes when fully tuned the matmut has more torque than the factory one but the factory one does handle better with slightly more bhp. ive got both.

What are you talking about? AUDI R15 won LeMans 2010 - and it's not in GT5 :(

Back then the Peugeots grabbed the top four in qualifying (and the Matmut was sitting on the 4th place). Then again, problems came up on all four cars.

First of all, the broken suspension on factory #3, which had claimed the pole position. The other three cars suffered from engine problems - the factory #1, factory #2 and the Oreca Matmut #4, forced all of the 908 HDI FAP to give up before the end of the race.

The podium was stuffed with three Audi R15 TDI Plus, driving a distance of 397, 396 and 394 laps respectively. However, Peugeot still grabbed the fastest lap for themselves - 3:19.

Remember: never mess with Bavarian engineering. :p

@Scuzzilla - Huh? You're from France? I saw that drama live on TV, but I think Peugeot will strike back this year. It was a problem with the turbocharger iirc, and they should have solved it. Some other teams should also join the party again, like in the golden 90s :)

Will be interesting to see how 2011 plays out. That new Audi R18 looks like a menacing Teutonic beast that eats Peugeots for breakfast!

It's sure looks like it's going to be a great race!

Still thinking about getting tickets, it's "only" 90 Euros for the "La Sarthe" tribune, which is located right at the last chicane. Yet, I don't know where to sleep and staying awake for like 40 hours straight could be difficult. :p

The thread got a little off topic but I'd like to thank you guys for your input. Bought the blue last night. I now have 6k leftover. :(
