How is it possible to drive with the 908 in the seasonal event 17 timetrial (Fuji speedway 350hp), I can only limit my 908 till 355 hp.

Wearing down the engine to 700hp so 350 is reachable with the absolute limit of power limiting.

I fail to see the challenge in doing this in any case. If it was for grinding, different story...

It was no challenge, just slide the power limiter over. Pretty easy.

But to your point i think....If your in for just the CR for the time trial then a street car is fine. If you want to see where you stand in the time trial against your peers that are all using the 908, then here is the challenge. 💡

Thank you for your response, what do you mean with 'wearing down' the engine? I can't downgrade anything, or am I overseeing something? In stock is the car 710hp, 50% is 355hp.

Driving it so much that you would need to overhaul the engine to get back some lost bhp. I don't know how many miles/kilometres that is required, but it's possible.

Damnit, tree'd. :p

If you buy it new and don't do an oil change, you can get it down with the power limiter.

This.
Box fresh, the car only has 690 bhp. Fortunately for me I've got 2 or 3 untouched examples already in my garage - having to buy cars just so I can earn the cr from subsequent races thanks to the 20 mil limit.
