I am at about 3 mil right now and I wonder if getting one of these is worth it? Or am I better off waiting and getting the Mazda 787B?

Brilliant car. And it has one of the best cockpit views in the game too. Don't hesitate to get it, its far nicer than the 787 if not quite as quick. You won't regret it.

Definitely the 908. Best bang for buck even stock itll monster c class cars around the track ( just as long as its AI driving otherwise there will be a Mazda 787b in front of you for the whole race. But seriously get the 908. It's massive fun to drive around. It's also "got a **** load more front grip through the corners" and "a lot of torque and a lot of power from the engine" but "a lion jumping through four rings is difficult".

I prefer the 787B. It just fits my driving style better. You really can't go wrong with either. You should be able to win almost any race that you want with either of them. Either will be a handful if you don't have a wheel.

I have both of them. I love my 908, its such a blast to drive completely stock. I'd advise you to buy the 908. However, if a friend has one of them, you can ask him to allow you too borrow it. That way you can test out what works best for you.

I have both. I love the 787b much more for nostalgic reasons but I love the 908 as well. The 908 is quicker and faster than the 787b. You will have trouble with passing Audi 01 LM cars with the 787b especially in BSpec whereas the 908 manhandled it.

Got the FAP (lol), and I really enjoy it. The cockpit view is what is really fantastic and the speed sort of creeps up on you.

Is it just me, or does the low end with the lvl 3 turbo have massive lag? I am wondering if I should go with the lvl 2 or stock for that matter.

FAP is a great abbreviation I don't know what you're talking about!


Anyways the 908 is a good deal. They priced it pretty cheap. I still prefer the 787B over it but if you want an LMP soon you can't go wrong with the 908.

Both are equally quick, but the 787 is IMO easier to control when using a cockpit view, it has a much better field of view and I have a better idea of where the wheels are. Hairpin corners are much easier to take with the 787 and it has less cockpit shake too.

And the 787 idle noise.

I think both are great, I think the 787B has a better advantage since there isn't a big mirror blocking the right side of your vision, which the 908 has. But as I said, both are great, and as some others said they are quite a handful without a wheel.

I've lapped my FAP 5 seconds quicker around Nurburgring than my 787B.

Could be my driving though

Actually, I think the 787 is faster, I use paddles for the 908 and this way the gear change is much faster than with the manual H shifter and clutch. With the 787 using manual transmission, steering wheel and clutch I lap Rome at 0.59.5XX and with the 908 HDI using paddles 0.59.3XX.

FAP is by far much much better. I know some people complain about it's understeer but that can be corrected with the proper tune that you can find all over gtplanet.
