Just messing round with a new profile and I find the Peugot 908 mamut is eligible for the world compact car cup in B spec (lvl 1 or 2)... Am I missing something or is this just more poor game design?

You'd be surpised how many events the X2010 can enter.

Nope, it's for European cars.

Early in the game you can't have big, huge cars.

(just 3 cars: One classic American car (Borrow a 2J), One Jaguar Chromeline (free and for good events), and One Japanese car (didn't figure out the last one, xxx)

-2010

If it fits the requirements then I guess it is allowed. The only way to change it is if PD but a HP or a PP restriction on it as well and we all know that isn't going to happen.

Well you can now.... I started my new profile by doing the nascar seasonals (no car needed, first race to lvl 21 a-spec) and then bought the puegot 908, moved on to the real world seasonal then the F1 Ferrari events, Started to B spec before the kids bedtime and there it was... Just seems a bit stupid not to have these better regulated.

and its not a compact car either is it? its a big bloody LM car.

I meant without doing seasonals which are big credit boms (cheats)

What about borrowing cars? That is an easy way to get big cars very early on without having to buy anything.

You can borrow cars outside your eligibility? (i.e.; Borrow a level 20 when you're a level 10)

^^^ I don't agree with that. I thought there was a point to the level system, and it's been circumvented by that... never mind the trading. I personally don't think you should drive it or trade/gift for it if you cannot buy it. To win it would be another story.
