I was working on getting gold for the last test in the B license. I got a time that was .001 seconds short (or was it .0001... whatever, it was a tiny fraction of the difference between silver and gold).

I was extremely frustrated but convinced that if i had come that close I could get it.

Later I finished .002 (or .0002 whatever it was) seconds short..... I was so upset that I put it away and never tried that license again. I'm content with silver now. : )

Maybe someday I'll go back.

No offence taken. I'd like to know how RX-7 takes the picture too. I use the composite video input. My video capture device (Hauppauge Win TV PVR) has an S-video in. Is that the difference?

MAN,... s-video should make it look crisper and clearer. On my system,... normally, the game looks like your screen daan,.. but on my TV upstairs that has an s-video setup, looks like RX-7's. Very crisp and clean image vs. dull colors and fuzzy numbers.

And even wierder,. is that composite video is supposed to be a step up from s-video,.... :odd:

One time I was baselining my cars on Midfield. I did a bunch of laps with the Ruf RGT and I had a time of 1'09,161 (not fully modded). About 2 minutes later I did a lap with a Lotus Esprit with totally different hp. And guess what, I got a 1'09,161

hay DAAN! I downloaded that video. But how do I watch it? What is XPS?
It's not a video, it's an Xport replay. You won't be able to use it. You need a PAL (European & Australian) PS2 & an Xport to use it.

I use the S-Video input on my TV-card... not the composite one!!
Composite sucks!!
It just looks zo fuzzy!!

I resize them so I may attach them to my post show them here!
It looks better too!! :)

Thx for the compliments peoples!!! 👍 :O :)

aaaahhhhh,. now I rememebr,.. I was thinking of "component video" (better than S-video),.. not composit.

I bought a little 14" flat screen TV to use at work and it has the component video hookup. It looks just like the regular composite video connects with Red,White, and Yellow, except it actually has FIVE cables, 1 red and 1 white for sound, and 1 each of Green, Red, And Blue (the three primary colors). When I'm sitting there playing it the first thing everyone ALWAYS says is "LOOK AT HOW CLEAR THAT PICTURE IS!!!" And it is! The best $25 bucks I spent on game accessories.:D

Now if only my home TV had component inputs...:irked:

Hehe, In the F1 Champ, I was cruising on the last lap at Grand Valley, on the last corner, the second place dude gained 5 seconds, got right up next to me, I nudged him in the front fend kind hard, and he litterally span beside me, all the way through the finish line at 170MPH!!!!! I won' by .004 ..
