"Past the Limit"
  • Take a photo of a car racing at or beyond the limit.
  • Danger Orange says: This theme is open to interpretation, but I am looking for shots where you might be trying to make that last ditch effort for a pass on the last lap, or clipping all the corners to make up time. I mainly want to see action!

Eligible Cars
  • Any cars that have over 100Hp in stock form.

Locations
  • Any Track. No PhotoTravel.

  • You must use only your own work that has not previously been entered in any competition.
  • Only one entry may be submitted, mark it clearly as Final Entry.

  • Do not ask other members to choose your final entry.
  • Additional photos may only be posted in the form of either two honorable mentions in thumbnail form, or a single preview image that does not to exceed 400x300 pixels in size.
  • Photoshop or other graphics programs may only be used to crop, resize, adjust brightness, contrast or gamma, rotate, add a border or small signature, or to remove the "Gran Turismo/©SCEI" watermark, if you so wish.
  • If you don't have Photoshop or other professional image management software, try a shareware one such as IrfanView or GIMP.
  • Photoshop or other graphics programs may NOT be used to change levels, hue, saturation, sharpen, apply filters or otherwise manipulate the image in any form.

I got an idea, though I don't know if I will have time to enter, I got a really bad teacher this semester, so I'm gonna have a buttload of homework.

u shoulda turned down the shutter speed so that the tires werent at a stand still. the grooves are just funny lookin. not clownin, just constructive criticism. the rest is cool tho.
 
Ah, I was wondering when a theme like this would pop up! I might change my entry, because I'm not too happy with the quality, but for now:

hey, wasnt it "pushing the limit".... now it is "past the limit". Was it changed or am i just mistaken. If so, my picture might not be "past the limit". it is just pushing it. lemme know whats up
 
This theme is so damn inspiring! I love driving my cars on the edge with drifting out of the corners with one wheel on the grass etc...

vr6gti72, that's an awesome shot! That fits the theme perfectly! And I really like Zubicar's shot as well. And several other shots a very very good too!👍

I think this shot fits the theme well, the Escudo is clipping the 4th corner of Le Mans. :) If this shot isn't suitable to the theme, or hasnt got enough action, please say it DO, then I will change it. :scared:
 
interesting them, but, since i run out of front grip before rear grip, i dont think my picture will be as interesting, as say, sending a cone into orbit :P
 
After just beating M34 last night, I'll have to go Arsenal's route...I've got a great idea for a picture from it. Otherwise I've got a few other ideas too :D

Congratulations Dude! Beating that mission was by far my best accomplishment out of all four GT games, but I had to go well past the limit to do so.
