Yep. I checked the Transparency & Gamut settings and it's set to grey. I've even uninstalled and reinstalled. Hell, I even went through the registry and deleted anything relating to Photoshop.
 
Nevermind. I managed to work out how to overcome the problem.

  • Select the colour you wish to change the outside area to.
  • Grab the Paint Bucket tool.
  • Hold Shift and click on the outside area.
 
Shannon if you didn't know that you could change the outside colour you are a fool, so is Cobraboy.

BTW: Is Windows XP annoying having huge arse minimize, restore and maximize buttons?

Well, you just know everything then don't you...:rolleyes:

No, the buttons aren't annoying.
