Now this is a thread I can get along with!

I've always loved the pre-facelift 10th gen Ford F-150s despite a lot of people having differing opinions. My grandpa had a '98 for a number of years for doing work around livestock or transporting a fuel barrel to his tractor in the hay field. Thing was a workhorse that gave very little issues. He then bought an '02 with the 5.4 Triton that gave him more problems due to that motor not being the most reliable. My dad had a '97 5 speed manual for a couple years in which that was the vehicle I learned to drive stick with. Awesome vehicle to drive and I wish he would've contacted me when he was selling it because I would've taken it off his hand for him. The 10th gen was a radical design change from the "obs" design that preceded it and people tend to give it a lot of flack for looking very blobular, but I think it fit the design language Ford was doing at the time where most of their lineup was doing more of the smoother look.

Since some are bringing up the RAM SRT10, Silverado SS and F150 SVT, I'm surprised that no one have mentioned anything about the GMC's "Ferrari beater".

It's stupid and i love it.

I was getting to the Syclone, I just wanted to talk about the 2000s trucks first and yes; it was insane. The same with its Typhoon brother.

I really liked how this Marlboro edition looked, I guess you could say it was smokin'.

I also didn't know this existed until a few years ago, the Chevy S10 SS. Was this any good?

The SS came with the optional 4.6 V6 from the regular S10 as standard. The later model years had suspension and limited slip upgrades too as far as I know. I believe they only produced 3,000 of these per year so they are rather rare.

Though that's a bit neat, I only learned about it because I saw it once during my first job.

Canoo, a startup making electric vans, pickups and delivery vans has just signed a deal with Walmart for 4500 Walmart branded vans for delivery vehicles. There are civilian versions, too. Here is the pickup, which is scheduled to start production before the end of the year.

I think i've talked about this already but the GM's squarebody used to be hugely popular across the Gulf states (Maybe not in Bahrain though), so much so that it became infamously used among smugglers back in those days. Locally, it's nicknamed as the "454" (obviously referring to the big block V8) and "behbehani" (a Kuwaiti GMC Dealership Network).

So why I'm even saying all of this?

Well in the late 80s...

General Motors, for whatever reason, decided to export the Brazilian built Chevy D-20/C-20 to the Middle East as the Chevy/GMC B10. Sold alongside the North American built OBS trucks and S10s/Sonoma's, these were powered by a 4.1 Straight 6 petrol engine although other engines were available in it's home market. Both short and long bed options are available though.

Known by local GM fans as "Brazilian", these never really caught on and just disappeared into obscurity. I heard some old folks complainin' about the build quality or lack of parts but I'm ain't so sure.

It's not the truck I've owned the longest, but this is a good one! It's my current ride, a 2013 F-150 STX 4x4 with all four STX option packages, the 5.0 Coyote truck variant, and the 6R80 transmission.
These had failures in the ASM at around 60,000 miles and the transmissions around 100k. Fixing the ASM requires replacing the entire electric steering unit ($2,500) fixing the transmission requires partially rebuilding the valve body ($900) and reflashing the ECM (free). I never had mine reprogrammed but the other repairs were completed at no cost to me.
It's got 200k miles on the clock and I'd hop in it and drive it to Alaska any day.
