I am trying to make an album but whenever I upload pictures I Get an error page. What do I do


It says something about a missing token.

I tried it again today and I don't get an error message any longer. It only says my uploads have failed. What am I doing wrong ? Maybe I am using the wrong picture format.

I'm not sure what the format limitations are (I'm sure jpg, png and gif are allowed, among others) but the other important things to remember are

• Pictures Remaining Up to 60/album
• Space Remaining 975.98 MB (your space may vary)
• Maximum File Size per Picture 500.0 KB
• Maximum Picture Dimensions 800 by 600 Pixels

What image types are you trying to upload? Also, you can only upload images up to 500kb in size... I successfully uploaded an image to an album in my profile just now, so it can be done Anyway, more info on the type of pics/filesizes would be helpful...

The limit is 50MB for regular members, and 1GB for Premium members...

crap they are a bit over 500kb

I uploaded 33 pictures to a new album just the other day. Several of them we slightly bigger than 500Kb but the GTP system automatically sized them to fit. I also got the same error message when I first tried. Then I tried uploading 1 picture at a time and simply repeating the process over and over. Once I had that figured out, everything went like clockwork

thanks for the help but each picture is about 2.7 mb so its not gonna work and they are jpg so it is a size issue

Can't you use Imageshack or Photobucket and resize them down to the size required ?

The error messages provided by our forum software which describe failed photo uploads leave a lot to be desired. I apologize for the confusion.

As others have noted, the server will resize most photos automatically after you upload them. However, files larger than 2MB will not be accepted for security and performance reasons. Please try resizing them via software like FastStone's Photo Resizer. It's free for home use and should be easy to use.
