I've always said that a good work environment was VERY important. You need lots of desk space to spread out your stuff and the computer area should be well set up. Your arms should be supported, the monitor at a good hight, and everything should be lined up. Having the display or keyboard off to a side where you're forced to twist your body is a very bad situation.

I couldn't agree more, LM. There's some incredibly bad (non-ergonimc) set-ups out there - I just don't understand how people can use them! That's another reason I hate using laptops...they are very uncomfortable and awkward to use. Are you sure you want to do all your computing hunched over, while your lap gets sweaty and your sperm cells die?

Oh and please check your private messages.
Yeah, I've got millions unread. Like I always say, if you have something very important to contact me about, please send me an email. PM's are to be for informal communications only.

Oh, alright! I've sent you an email, thanks for letting me know. 👍

My desk is pretty awesome, also so is the way I installed my psu. That should teach me to buy a ****te case. Although I must admit my desk is usually messier than that. Also my chair sucks so much (like Fifa) I should be getting a new one someday.

Nobody laugh at my pink wallpaper. It was there before I was born. We moved here 16 years ago. So I had no choice. I hate waking up to it.

i live in a "WHITE TRASH" type trailer (long & narrow) so i have my PC & two TV's in the living room lol, and when people see my setup they think im obsesed with computers and videogames (i am so its all good lol) here is my setup 👍

Nice setup you got there! 👍 Very cool. I love your GTA poster and your Gran Turismo setup. Do I see Playboy: The Mansion in your collection?

I don't know how you can live with your computer open like that. If I had your setup, my feet would be inside the computer!

If I had the PSU mounted in the case and all the panels closed the damn thing would melt the cpu. That case is designed with the PSU fan blowing the hot air directly back onto the CPU, which is quite hot being an Antec PSU and all. Although I must admit, my pc keeps my room nice and warm well warmer than usual. Which is good at the moment, because it's damn cold. Eventually i'm going to get a nice coolermaster case and a new motherboard but i'm happy with my current PC/Heater situation.

And Eh? feet inside computer?

I can never sit forward. My feet are always either on my bed, or on the other desk beside me. Your computer is just about where I would put my feet. I'm so damn lazy.

get a Lian Li case. 👍

Damn, this is totally creepy. LOL. I got the same tower, mouse, keyboard, but i bought a 19in Sony Vaio moniter. What specs does your computer have?

Dude, I have the same tower, keyboard and a VAIO mouse with a 17" screen.

That makes 3 of us; my specs are as following; 40GB, 1.7Ghz Celeron, 256MB, Windows XP Home, with a bunch of Sony shiat.

80GB hard drive, 1.6 Ghz Intel, 512Mb Ram, ADI 256mb Graphics Card, 21 inch montor, and Boston Acoustics speakers.

I dumped all the Sony stuff though, and I need to get a new key board. I hate this purple one.

I have all of you Sony Vaio guys beat!
I have 2.66ghz Pentium 4, 512ram, 80GB Hardrive, ATI Radeon 64MB(i added this), Windows XP, Logitech 5.1 surround sound
Oh, and i took off the purple part from the keyboard.

here is my computer desk,

the computer is a 2800 AMD with 512mb of ram and a 120GB hard drive

yeah, Its probably the best monitor I have ever owned, i'm very happy with my purchase.

also I dont kbnow much about graphic cards, and i'm thinking of an upgrade, I have a S3 unichrome (i think thats what it is, lol) anyway i'm not sure if its any good and i f i need to upgrade it.

You guys are going to flip when you see all the computers I have at work. They're not really "gamer rigs" like you're all talking about here, but it's so much damn computing power under one man's control.

get a Lian Li case. 👍

I just bought a Lian Li pc-65, and it runs pretty hot. I was disappointed at first; but the quality and overall "clean" look made up for it.

Someone has the company digital camera out in the field, so I don't have picture right away. But here's another drawing.

Unfortunately I share my large office with a row of Accounting file cabinets. It's not all bad.

Heres mine. really cheap. but I don't care, it works just fine for me. Ghetto monitor though

My Tower and Woofer

And My only toy on the desk: My Stuffed Ozzy!

As you can probably tell, my camera is also really cheap. Very low quality. I really need a new one.

Here's the layout to my room.

This is the result of being a HSC student ....It's sad and frustrating that I sometimes have trouble finding my mouse....

BTW - note my glass of Pepsi MAX, I always have one there (or a can)... :D

Blake

One glass of pepsi max is nothing. Once, stacked on top of 2 shoeboxes and my subwoofer, I had empty cans of coke. 9 on the bottom, 9 on top. On top of 2 shoeboxes. On top of my subwoofer. On top of my desk. Too bad I don't have a digicam, my webcam doesn't have a wide enough view to show my whole desk. It's a lot messier than everyone elses lol.
