Pikes Peak in GT5

i remeber running this track on collin mcrea dirt 1 and even if you dont enjoy rally..... well this is still one hell of a track! mixed tarmack and gravel with a gizillion harpins
 
Incidentally, I got a version of this track on GT Legends for PC. Taking an old Porsche 914 up there was fun...
 
Absolutely, it is an awesome track that is very challenging. Not to mention, if that article has any bearing then it means PD has it modeled for GT5 in some fashion, whether it wasn't ready at launch (like other things) or not. I'm sure it looks gorgeous. Adding tracks to GT5 should be on their minds.

Yes it should. It means that the escudo has a use. I just hope that if that track comes that we get some pikes peak cars.👍
 
I'de love the full 12 mile track, it was a blast in DiRT. But GT5 has no Pikes Peak spec vehicles.. not even a Peugeot 405!. :nervous:

My guess, DLC with PP, El Capitan, Grand Canyon, as well as what Kaz mentioned about standard cars getting upgraded to premium...

Actually, bring back Citta Di Aria! Those long, swooping city streets... only thing that beats the Ring for me...

Isnt the Pikes Peak Suzuki Escudo in GT5? I havent got one yet but ive seen posts that say its in the game?

That car was monster in GT2. Needed a lot of mods to drive well on tarmac but was super fast..0-60 in about 2 seconds if the gearbox was done right.
 
Fingers crossed Pikes Peak is in. My favourite rally course in GT2. Hopefully it'll come with some Pikes Peak cars and some hillclimb cars (like the tiny single seaters with F1 engines in the back!)

What a major let down if we don't get it and the whole article is about GT5 and Pikes Peak, that would be a double fail for Redbull, first the video and now this. If it turns out not to be true.
 
Pikes Peak would be an incredible addition to the game, I really do hope the article wasn't a very weird mistake.. Who took the time to write that if the track doesn't exist?? :D
 
Hi, new here. For the people that are saying the 608MB patch was a bit large, I can confirm it contained all previous patches so wasn't really. I know this because I got the game on Christmas day and when I loaded it up I downloaded a single 608MB patch to get to 1.05.
