Pink Slips

Let spice things up a bit, how about we start racing for pink slips? 1v1? Obviously this is only for cars 1 mil under. But has anyone done this online? You have a 1v1 race, winner takes the losers car.

Cool, i havne't seen any, so i'll keep my eye out, i think this idea, adds alot more excitment to the game.

I can't dupe, which is why it interest me so much. But yes i agree, that would kill it.

Everybody can dupe, you can just create another user on the PS3 and backup your save there.

Actually, it would make pink slip racing more enjoyable. Some people complain and cry when they lose their car and it ruins the atmosphere. If they dupe before losing the car, at least they'll still have their car and the winner still gets a new ride. 👍

Would be good if you could race for pinks, but i can see the downside restoreing a backup after you lose is just one of them.

Rude players will rear end you to get infront then cut corners to stay infront and do brake checks when you are behind them or they will slam you when you are attempting to pass but this make up a small amount of racers out their.

This brings back memories of Need for Speed IV High Stakes

Nice idea, but I think I'll pass as I'm not a particularly good racer. Years of hotlapping and racing GT's 'AI' has seen to that! A time attack session, though, I'd be up for that.

Ok pink slips in this game wont work. Most people wont be honest and give you their car if they lose. and there is no way you can take it from them, so I dont play

I can agree with most of these posts, valid points. But it could certainly spice things up, especially racing against friends, make things more exciting and interesting. Since, well, i have done everything in the game, im thinking of ways to amuse myself in this game, hence the idea.

I was racing karts online once and of course I won.
And my winners message or whatever you call it is HA HA LOSERS!
So one of the other guys said that be could guarantee that we would never see that message again.
So I asked him if that was a challenge and he replied that it was.
So I told him that we should put up some stakes so I bet him my kart that I could beat him.

I don't think I'm gonna share how this ended.
