Pit options

I've been searching without any luck.

Question: Is it possible to pit and just refuel without equipping new tires in any mode in GT6? I thought you could just refuel in previous GT's but it doesn't seem possible in GT6 unless I'm missing something.

No, tyres will always be changed when you pit. The only option is not put fuel in and just have tyres, but not the other way round.
 
It is entirely stupid that you can't just get fuel, also dumb why you can't get 2 tires , be it 2 fronts, 2 rears, 2 lefts or 2 rights

Depending on the length of pit road, there might not be enough time to make all those choices -- how many tires to change, which tires/corners to change, which type of tires, plus fuel yes/no and how much fuel. Yeah it would be great to have all choices available at all times but depending on the situation it might be too much and result in loss of time due to a lengthy pit stop.

Which is why another feature mentioned by another thread would come in useful in conjunction with this one - having mic communication with the pitlane during the race. If you can tell them over the mic that your front left is needing changed but your rears are okay then as soon as you enter the pitlane it'll be done as requested and you don't have to change any menus on screen.
