Hi everyone,

On the Watkins Glen track every time I pit in I’m getting a bloody 6” penalty. I’m not leaving the pit exit early. It happens every time and that’s my race effectively over.

Is this a glitch?

Hello ,

Nah , i don't think that's a Glitch , you just have to be careful to not go outside of the pit lines , in and out

It's especially fun when you get punted out of the pit entry.

Borrowing this thread. Do you know how picky the GT7 stewards are about the lines? Is it enough to just touch it with a tyre? In my opinion 'crossing' is when you go from outside the line over to the inside or the other way. I just played the MC last round at Watkins Glenn. Watched a preview video, practiced the pit entry since its a bit special, but got the penalty during the race anyway. Went back and watched the replay and looks like my left tyre is on the line the first 5 meters or so, but never crossing the line in my opinion. Apparently this was enough but Im just wondering if any of you know the actual criteria, thanks.

I've noticed with many pit penalties at Watkins Glen that on entry you just touch tyres to the white lines it will trigger a penalty, so anytime im in a daily or similar race (like MFG today) I go slower than normal to NOT touch lines.
