Pit strength

Can someone help me to explain how the pit strength works? Many thanks!!

It is how strong Bob will be when he pits. If you set it to off then he will just go until his tires are worn out or his fuel is low. This is best with high level drivers. However as for the 10% and other values I believe that is how much strength Bob will have left when he will come in. So at 90%, he will pit when he has lost 10% strength. If you set it at 10%, then he pits when he has lost 90%. Hope this helps

Don't use it though. They will pit more and more often. Lets say you're in a long race and you run your guy down to 10%. Next time he get's into the car his strength may only return to 60%. He WILL pit again at 10%. It's also a problem with the AI. Think they are programmed to pit at 10%. In the longer races like 24hr they may wind up pitting every other lap or so. Totally destroys the competitiveness.

same thing happened to me with my bobs for the 9hr endurance race... strange! my pit strength did not regenerate halfway thru the race with 4 bobs rotating.
