We got a practice room open at the moment with about 6 of the guys. If anybody needs an invite , let me know? :gtpflag:

Thanks for the races tonight, again! Appreciate your all's patience.

Please let me know if I am doing anything during the race, I know once I came back on the track in a bad spot - didn't mean to and tried to correct that. This is literally my 3rd race with this game online. Seriously guys, any feedback, even if you think it's harsh. Me asking this again probably sounds stupid, but you all have TONS of time in this game AND online. I know it's for fun, but don't want to be a nuisance and ruin someone else's fun because of my inexperience.

Anyway, ton of fun and looking forward to next week already. And thanks for the tune @Stanc03

C'ya guys next week!!

Anytime man and I Wasnt really that close to you but your track reentry is a bit rough lol. If you come to stop after crashing just let evryone go by then Re enter. If u just slide off try to merge back on but let the cars racing go by. Other than that Your doing good man

Yeah dude, I hear'ya, and you're right - I thought about that after I did it, but in the heat of the race you just wanna get back on track asap. You know? I'll work on that and thanks for the CC. Appreciate it, man! 👍👍

@Stanc03 If you could have a setup and pit strategy ready for everyone by next Thursday, that would be great, thanks.

I hopped on last night and did some practice and have a pretty solid base setup now, so I am good, but I am looking out for everyone else.

Am I reading this right?
Stan: Race1 finish position: 13. What happened there man? That's so strange?
and Lobban: Finish position: -. What happened there bro?

The far Left 2 columns are just PSN name and sheet abbreviation for each driver.

Great racing last night guys. I have a really good feeling about this season!!
I would rather see 14 guys running the same. Lap instead of just one. I picked this up from racing with someone. Names bmw on granturismo back in the day.. Dude was fast as hell and wanted everyone to be just as fast or even faster.

Tuning is usually a group effort.. I have a German and Italian that helps me tune. I'm not perfect but I usually need someone else's input on what they are doing to the car and what's working and not working.

I think we should start having a official practice night where we can share tunes and help each other out

I have spent many hours researching, practicing, and tuning, and even had a guy (from England) back in the day who acted as my engineer and monitored me in PCars 1, for stints up to 12 hours working on setup with me. It is important to learn the fundamentals of what cures under steer and over steer, cause just giving someone your tune isn't always the answer, we all a like different things as a driver. I prefer a neutral to very slight loose setup, which is very hard to achieve in PCars 2 with some of the setup options available.

However, it isn't always the tune on the car that will make drivers faster. A lot of pace comes from pedal work, and I think there a plenty of drivers in our league that could benefit from maximizing deep / trail braking, mid-corner maintenance throttle, and corner-exit throttle as early as possible. This alone will greatly improve lap times, but takes a long time to master, and varies between driving sims, based on the physics engine and tire model. Now I don't claim to be an expert on any of this, I am just a student, who enjoys constantly looking at my flaws, ripping apart my driving style, and then putting it back together with learned improvements.

Official practice ? hmmm.
Share tunes ,👍
Like Hazard said. depends on your style of driving. Sometimes a tune hits all the genre. Your tune @Stanc03 last night was spot on for the masses. Thanks for sharing.

If we were to offer a "practice night" it would be 100% optional. You can practice as much or little as you want for our league at your behest.

On another note... MotoGP is at Losail IC this weekend!!! (Christmas music playing) It's the MOST wonderful time, of the year!! Engines revving, Lorenzo crashing, oh, it's the most, wonderful, time, of, the year!

Went ahead and signed up for the MotoGP pass. Sooo worth it, can watch everything - and I mean everything. All the way back to 1992!!
The Zooks are looking good this year.

I would be one of those that would benefit from this.

I'd be down for some practice sessions, I for one would like to figure out why I'm not "gud", I feel like I'm doing all that I can and can figure out how to tune but still lack knowledge on some things. Where do I sign up to be a Gentleman driver? :banghead::bowdown:

Anybody up for a tuning session later on,I'd like to work on it a bit if anyone is interested.

@Alex ONeill sorry bro I was pre occupied with insurance company Some trash hit my car then proceeds to try and fight me.. Needless to say the situation did not end well If I'm free I'll jump on today
