I should be able to jump on tomorrow after work (prob ~6:30 CST), if you see me on please send me an invite to run a few wet laps!! 👍

Nobody ever said anything after I posted about some practice so I gave up:confused:

Sorry, didn't check the thread till now. I ran some practice tonight, by myself, at Fuji in the dry, just to make sure the setup under the car was consistent.

Just to keep everyone in the know, I will be on practicing this evening after work. I haven't decided if it will be another dry stint, as I am still working on dampers, or if I will emulate race conditions based on the forecast. I like to minimize variables when I work on a setup. If you have too much going on, then you can't properly root cause issues that are upsetting the car.

Finally, its Race Week again!!!

If you didn't have a chance to watch the Moto3, Moto2, & MotoGP action this week - then you missed out on the start of race season.

All three class in Moto were decided by less than 0.100". And in the MotoGP race 0.600" covered the top 6 riders!! I recorded the IndyCar race and will watch it today at work or tonight... but man, if you like (or love) racing, you owe it to yourself to watch the bikes.

Admit I'm ready for F1 to start (obviously! ).

Is anyone not feeling good around Fuji...? I thought pretend Suzuka was a bit sketchy, but this track I am not getting on with at all. You guys having the same feelings?? Or is it just me? I can manage one halfway decent lap, but then the next 9 are all over the place.

Hmm, oh well, just wondering aloud.

Hopefully we can sort some stuff in a practice room.

Fuji is a difficult track and the flow is kinda weird. But still an awesome track. Keep practicing, you'll get it!

@HazardLvL4 and @bigtimedave thanks for the practice room last night, always good to put down some laps with someone other than the Ai.

Still feeling completely inconsistent on that track, and although I like the challenge of it, the Ferrari just seems weird to me there. On one turn it will feel pretty good and the next lap, around the same turn, it's like a cartoon car. Strange. I would be embarrassed to tell you guys how much I have already practiced there - and still don't have a handle on a few of the turns (first turn, last turn - ALL the freaking turns in between!!).:lol:

Anyway, good running with you guys last night, and sorry I bailed Hazard, they were running the LMP Porsche in another room and I had asked to be invited (got killed :D). Anyway, hope to do some more practice before Thursday (but still looking forward to it 👍).

Well I fell asleep and missed last night practice session what was the fastest lap

Well once i figured out another trait about this car, i made an adjustment before I hopped off last night, and was able to hit 1:39:267.

That's impressive lap. I think we where only doing 41s in the lambo. And. I'm assuming the Ferrari is getting close to 200mph down the straight

To be honest, not sure what my top speed was down the straight, wasn't even paying attention to that. However, you are shifting up to 7th just before the Start / Finish line.

Not sure how crazy this sounds or if it makes any sense, but I figured what could it hurt. I used a set-up for a Ferrari 488 GT3 and it seems to work, granted I'm not going to put up a time like @HazardLvL4 39's but it's more stable for me.

Ehh the GT3 is a complete diffents animal drip for days bro lol. That was my first attempt and in the long run the car gets scary to drive.

Did some practice yesterday. Sure is a tricky little track. Give it that.
Almost as bad as devil COTA and Long Beach.

A few times yes lol the 120r I would get serious snap over steer and send me into a wall I can do a 1.37 or 36 in the GT3 ferrari and 488 challenge I'm doing very low 1.40s
I agree, especially turn 1 but I believe it seems better with the engine brake at 0 and you almost have to get the RPM's down before going into the turn #1.

Yes turn one is hard even for me. In struggling I'm leaving traction on..and usiing 2nd gear if someone is close to me. 3rd only when the tires are fresh and I can use full width of the track. Also u cant fully release the gas pedal in this car

What traction number (approx) are you inclined to be setting it to? That and the other thing below "Traction" (think is ABS or whatever).
