I'm in.. Any word on weather last time. I checked rain was 1hr away race is 45.minutes but 2x progression so rain for last weather slot or na

SO small problem yesterday weather all ready took place in Japan lol and it's now Friday. So what's the actual weather ?

Last I checked early Wednesday, it was calling for early morning rain. So that's why I worked on my rain set-up.:scared:

So, like in 11 minutes, kewl beans!? I'm logging in now so I can get some practice in!
 
Anyone planning on practicing tonight for Zhuhai GP? Gonna try and jump on later and run some laps as I just can't figure this car out, it's been a struggle. If anybody has an APAC setup they would like to share I would be more than willing to do some testing on it. :lol:

Don't seem to have a clue on what to do with this car... for instance, last night while several were convincing Old Bear to stay and run, with TC on, I figured what the hey. I hadn't run the car yet with TC, and decided to try it. after about 6-7 laps (maybe more) I had lost over 11 seconds to bigtimedave (I think he was faster anyway), as I was hanging with him before I turned it on. I tried low and high, and didn't seem to matter much. I also had some hellacious tire wear with it on <-- which struck me as odd...

Anyhoo, if someone has a setup they would be willing to share I would appreciate it. Thanks!!

I'dbe willing to post my set-up in the PS4 messenger and you could copy it as to how fast it is, I'm not sure because of how I wasn't able to keep up with anyone else. I'm wondering if these guys are running with the radiator closed? :irked: :confused:
 
@bigtimedave I hear'ya. Hazard passed me and I was able to run with him for about 4 turns, that was it. As soon as we hit the right handed sweeper onto the straight he was gone. I bet I'm losing 2 seconds in that turn alone, maybe more because of how much I had to slow down going in. Very frustrating. And not complaining, having a lot of fun still - but when I spectate other peoples cars they (at least appear to) have so much more grip than me. Even watching their speeds through the turns and what gear they're in... :indiff:

And not saying I would win with someone else's car, not even trying to hint at that, but last night (and @ Fuji) I didn't feel even remotely competitive. :grumpy: :lol:
 
With this car, and GT3 cars, they are designed with TC in mind. Trust me I dont like using assists, but at some point you have to say uncle. I am running low TC and my setting is 10 % on the car for SUGO. The only other changes were the downforce, and diff. I can hop on and help out if you guys will be around.

Saturday is probably better for me, I have a race at 9 est tonight.

I shouldn't have posted that it was out of frustration, I just suck at Sim racing :banghead:. @HazardLvL4 @barryf1fan I forgot that I had a wedding to attend today (shows how much I want to go to said wedding) and won't be able to practice till Sunday, unless you guys will be on before 12 EST today. :confused:
