Hi @Alex ONeill and @HazardLvL4 . Are we racing this coming Thursday 4th April? And if so what are the race night details? Just want to be sure.

Blancpain GT3 Series (5th week)

These races will be held the 5th week at the conclusion of the mixed season.
I'm not really sure, I think they take a bye week, but Mugello GP is next for the Blancpain GT3 Series.

I practiced a bit yesterday afternoon. I'll try and be on later this evening - but I always do our taxes on the Fool's day, kinda become a tradition the last several years. :rolleyes:

Not sure you would want to practice with me anyway. . . lol!!

p.s. Looking up the weather for that area of Italy - 60-85% chance of rain on race day...

Managed a little practice tonight at Mugello in the Audi R8 GT3. Was able to do a 1:49.6 in the dry and a 1:58. something in the wet, and it took awhile to get that time in the rain. Was on a 2:00 flat for the longest time, made a few setup changes and just played around with the suspension mostly - still don't know what the heck I'm doing. . . It is fun though. :D

Was getting some frightening tire wear in the wet until I raised my pressures a bit. I know I'll be slow 'round the track. ;)
 
Nobody cares about the points. We come to race. put everyone on 0 and watch them lose their minds.

The r8 is stupid. Fast but it's a pro car and requires u to keep your foot on the gas at all times. Me and @bigtimedave did sole practice Monday and I'm pretty sure we where doing low 42s in dry and 55s in rain. Im off work today so I'll be practicing some more

The r8 is stupid. Fast but it's a pro car and requires u to keep your foot on the gas at all times. Me and @bigtimedave did sole practice Monday and I'm pretty sure we where doing low 42s in dry and 55s in rain. Im off work today so I'll be practicing some more

I will be on tonight as well, I had to practice on Monday for the Vintage Enduro I am a driver in for SRM that @sgohsixthree is putting on.

@Stanc03, not to rain on your parade but are you sure you don't mean low 47's? pretty sure all the leader boards have the GT3 cars LR's at 47's.

I think I'm in the low fiddys in the dry, and 201's in the wet, but I'll take it @Stanc03 :bowdown::boggled:
And from what the weather app. Is saying, everyone's parade will be getting rained on :nervous:

LOL my bad I think I over stepped the times so I did low 51s in dry and in rain high 58s

Might have even been faster but I'm down for some practice tonight.

And whose leave is running lmp right now was it a srm room ?

I believe LMP 1's are being ran in Camel's league on Wednesday nights.
 
Yeah, I ran the Porsche 919 in Camels room last Wednesday and it was pretty comical... I think @ONESPACE lapped me 32 times in a 75 minute race. Don't laugh, I think Camel lapped me 35 times!!! :lol::lol::lol::lol: Talk about a "rolling chicane", more like a spinning chicane.

It's funny that you say that, cuz it's the car I'm most consistent in. I ran a practice session with @Alex ONeill awhile back in the Acura and was faster in it (and the 911 RSR) but could not be consistent with either of those cars. I'm definitely no pro, but I take that as a compliment. 👍 Cone status - removed. :bowdown:
 
Here's a couple of pics of the cars when I went and ran some R/C last Friday. The blue and yellow F1's are mine (buddy ran the Jordan), and the blue 1/12th scale. Had a lot of fun and a lot of the people there racing it was their first time seeing foam tire 1/12th scales run - I think several people ordered cars from the hobby shop before we were done - and yes, the HS owner was happy we came down to OKC to race!! :lol::lol:

the three "pretty" cars are Xray's X12 2018 & 2019 and I run an Associated 12R6.

Just sharing - you may or may not care, but figured I would throw it in here as this my first hobby - although I'm really digging the SIM-racing in Project Cars 2. Gives me another avenue to compete (well, I wouldn't necessarily say I compete with you guys - maybe just know you will have to go around me at some point. HA!)

The guy with the white F1, it was his first time running it - or any F1 R/C. And he got better and better through the night. We worked on his setup and got the car settled down. He went from about 7-8 laps down to me in the first heat to I only got him by ~2 laps in the Main. He was pretty pumped.

Yep...I'm sticking it out so I don't lose my place. Not a fan of these cars. Part because of my carpal tunnel, makes it hard for me to hold the go fast button. I have to use my left hand to push the button and steer with the right.
Personally I think it takes more skill to drive the can am Porsche 917. And at lemans classic track, the old girl will mop the floor with any car on p2. Lmp included.
