Good Afternoon All,

Great racing today! Can't wait to get back on track with everyone next week!

I just want to notify everyone that tire wear for each season will be listed on pg. 1 of this thread along side the season schedule. Tire wear will be dependent on testing prior to each season with the new car to determine how fast they wear out. @Alex ONeill & myself are responsible for testing and determining the tire wear setting for the lobby prior to each season. For example for the GT4 class we ran "Accelerated" and still had GT4 cars that could easily complete races with minimal tire degradation on soft compounds. This season with the BMW M1 Procar we agreed to have the tire wear set to "Authentic" due to how quickly this car degrades tires. Hards will definitely complete entire races with minimal wear, and so will softs, but for softs there are key setup changes that need to be made in order to accomplish that.

*NOTE - Qualification is supposed to be 15 minutes, and will remain such going forward.

If there are any other comments, questions, or concerns, that are legitimate, please let @Alex ONeill and myself know.

Welcome to the Project International Touring Series, a.k.a PITS. PITS 2 is the next evolution in the series as we move forward to Project Cars 2. However, there is more to this then just altering our league's name. Our existing format, carried over from Project Cars, will remain the primary framework we operate by for all weekly season races. As part of our goal of continuous improvement, we will be promoting more special events, enduro offerings, and setup shops for all who are apart of our community, and even those individuals who happen to just stop by. PITS 2 will continue to strive to be the series that offers the best place to race for serious drivers. Now "serious" doesn't translate to "fast", anyone and everyone of all skill levels are welcome in PITS 2. We use the term "serious drivers" because PITS 2 operates by a series of rules and regulations outlined below this post. All drivers actively participating in PITS 2 must obey these rules, and MUST remember this is a game and it is meant to be fun. This newest iteration of the league wants to continue to build on the great community we fostered during the era of Project Cars. We want PITS 2 to be a place where great memories are made on and off the track, by the wonderful people who make up this community. To all new drivers a hearty welcome to you from @Alex ONeill and @HazardLvL4, and to all returning drivers, we want to say thank you for your continued support of PITS. Look forward to racing will all of you on track in this new era of sim racing.

We had a great race at Brno, that was a lot of fun! I guess I got my work cut out for me if I am in the crosshairs :P

Was just thinking about it this morning. Rolex 24 followed by the Bathurst 12 Hour next weekend. Race season is here!

I always play races in the background while I work, so winter months can be tough :P

Let's get confirmations going for this Sunday's race at Hockenheim! Big wide track, with some twisty bits to link up with some long straights. It will be fun to see which setup works best. Fast on straights, or fast on turns.
