New update had a change I knew nothing about....when I pulled into the pits to look for my pit stop at the end of the session... the car stopped, I pressed on the gas pedal and got returned to race central... what a stupid assed thing to program in. .. sorry cb. Looks like a bad start to the season.

Probably because the throttle is also programmed as the confirm button? Not too sure, but you might be able to change that.

It doesn't matter to me who the teams are but we don't usally allow teams to change after the first round unless a team mate has to drop out of the series for some reason.

Yeah just figured I'd offer, didn't realize jaxon mentioned anything already since I didn't really dig through the past posts I missed, I can run independent or if any other D1/D2's wanna team up, I'm open. I believe I'm a D2...

I completely missed that reply, I even went back just now to look for it, lol. Sorry about that @swjaxon, I'm game! Now to think of a catchy name :D

Did you know that the 3 Germans manufacturers that we are competing with took their current DTM contenders to Twin Ring Motegi at the end of the Super GT season last year, to showcase what they compete with. The Super GT cars had already made an appearance at the DTM finale at Hockenheim, so it was time to show the Japanese fans some good ol' German engineering! The goal was to showcase the partnership between the two series, which in the near future, plan to normalize their technical regulations so both series' compete with identical regulations. Could we see a joint series in the future, or all star race?

Confirmed for Sunday. If you aren’t aware, the NismoTV channel on YouTube has, I believe, the last two seasons of Super GT in full and in English. It’s some riviting stuff for sure.

@Falango I believe starting in 2019 you’ll be able to cross DTM and GT500 per regs, or at least thats what I remember them mentioning at Motegi last year. Mercedes is pulling out of DTM at the end of 2018 as well.

I actually didn't know Merc was pulling out of DTM. Any word on if a third manufacturer will join up to replace them?

NismoTV posts lots of great stuff. I used to watch the entire Blancpain Endurance Series through their Youtube channel, and watched the Bathurst 12 through it too. I really wish some of the other race series out there would start posting full stuff as well (looking at you BTCC, F1, and DTM!)

They were working on trying to get Opel back in the sport but I think it’s been a moot effort so far. Probably part of the reason why Super GT and DTM teamed up since GT500 only has Toyota, Honda, and Nissan as well.

F1 is coming out with a streaming app finally that will have archived coverage available! Unfortunately I dont think it’s coming to Canada...

Of course it wouldn't come here! Luckily, if there's a web based version, I can watch it at work, since we're on a US connection.
