To be honest, yesterday sucked. I know its in bad taste to leave, even I've talked about it a few times, but I wasn't having fun, and haven't had fun in a while. I won't be racing in PITS in the forseeable future. There's multiple factors, including the time. I was ok with Sunday mornings for a while, but it bites into my weekend too much for my liking now.

Good luck with the series guys. If the series fits my racing needs in the future, I'd be happy to race with you guys again.

Apologies for rage quitting on Sunday, I'm not usually one to rage quit but I just wasnt really having it after blowing multiple chances at possibly winning that 2nd race, feel like you guys can do without hearing me cuss myself out for a good few minutes. I know @SGETI was coming up on me, hopefully you didnt hit my battered car before it disappeared...

Idk @Falango if that 1st race wreck at the start was mostly my fault or if you got tapped from behind or what. I got a crap start and went into that first turn very shallow so I was hoping to squeeze behind Stanc once he got by but I feel like I slowed down too much and everyone just got bottled up maybe? The closing rate on these cars is immense and that 1st corner at the Glen can become a bottleneck if the outside doesnt give enough space, my main focus was on trying not to punt Stanc out of 2nd.

I'm also in the same boat in that I don't think I'll be able to commit to full seasons on Sundays anymore, just dont have the time anymore where my job has gotten much busier, the weekends are basically my only physical interactions with friends and family outside of work which takes priority right now. I can probably make a race here and there so I'll check in occasionally, but my days of being a regular on the weekends are likely done for now.

Good Morning All,

There have been discussions offline, @Alex ONeill and myself know the league in its current form isn't sustainable. A big part of this is due to the day and time we run. It was brought our attention that two other leagues are running at the same time we are. Thus, it makes it impossible to grow PITS in that time slot, when considering how small the PCARS 2 community already is. In order for PITS to have a chance at continuing we have no choice but to move it away from Sunday. However, this leaves us with only one viable option. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday are already taken by other prominent leagues on GTP, and as far as PITS management is concerned, weekends, which include Friday, our out of the question for the foreseeable future. Thus, PITS will be moving to Thursday nights, essentially permanently. We will finish this final Sunday's race and then anything following will be scheduled for the new day. Start time hasn't been nailed down quite yet, but I have requested that the event would be completed by no later than 11:30 pm EST. This is the first step in what is to come, there are many other facets of the league that need to be discussed.

@Falango, sorry to see you go, hopefully we will get to race you again in the future.

@UMDfutbol11, We all rage quit at times, it is looked down upon, but I understand, and won't hold it against ya. These cars may have been a poor choice for the overall leagues driving ability. I love these cars personally, but like @Alex ONeill and I discussed, one slight error and it is over.

For those who would be interested in a move to Thursday nights please post below expressing your interest.

Thursdays.

Like the idea of change to hopefully better the league. Start time? the ending time of apx. 11;30 is pushing the limit in my case.

Also this time day change works better for myself during the summer hours.

The start time is yet to be determined, but earlier the better. Again the 11:30 pm EST was a hard limit for end time. I hope to be done before then. I am glad to hear that this works better for you. Again like I said there will most likely be more changes than this coming.

For us west coast guys I’m thinking 8:30 EST would be the earliest on Thursdays we could run. That should have us finishing at 10:45-11.

The Sunday time slot (early or later) suits me well. I can participate in all three (PITS, SNAIL and Lobanaro) and still keep my Snail Duties up and get some practice in for all three. Its nice to race in PITS and Lobanaro and don't have to worry about the stats, combos and other things going on with managing a league.

Thursdays will clash with the SNAIL Practice night. It will be difficult to grow with members from the SNAIL GTS community (like me, Sam, rkz, etc) in that time slot. I will have to reconsider also. We (SNAIL) are getting new members, but people don't stay very long and Thursday nights is also a recruiting night.

Lobanaro time slot is a sweet spot. Nothing is happening in SNAIL on Mondays as we are awaiting the results and finalizing the IRs. The earliest the combos are available might be on Tuesday night, but on average by Wednesday night.

SNAIL has started an Endurance Series on Tuesdays. That is getting too much for me, but I might go there instead of PITS on Thursdays. If you consider Tuesdays I will choose PITS or I might make Tuesdays my PCARS2 career night.

We can also take the approach of moving anywhere we want and if it clashes with another group then recruit their members to our group and do a "hostile takeover" or we can call it quits and everyone can join up with a group that fits their schedule and/or style and get involved there. Volunteers are always needed.

Dang, I can't leave you guys alone for a single season.
I'm definitely down for a weekday. It might be a little tough to get home from work in time, but I could always make the second race if I'm late for the first one, but more then likely I'll make the first race.
I like @Rednose58 idea and hijacking other leagues members.

Here are the points after round 4:

Won't be able to make it this weekend. I will be at Carolina Rebellion all weekend.

Hey guys,

I won’t be around this weekend, unfortunately my Dad is in the hospital with a very aggressive form of brain cancer. I am heading out to Arizona to be with him and my Mom and won’t be back for a week or so. Hazard will be handling everything for the league while I’m gone.

See you guys online as soon as I can.
Sorry to hear that Alex.. keep well .
