Yeah i know what you mean. The ABS is more like braking assist. The non linear throttle also makes driving sans TCS more intensive. I dont hate the game been playing it since the first one. I just like the more hardcore feel and physics in PC2 now that im acclimated to using a wheel.(5months later) after 20 years of using a controller.

Agreed, I think like everyone here, I started with the GT series as far back as GT 1. However, after GT 4 I lost interest in it and moved on to first person shooters. PCars 1 seduced me to come back to racing games / simulators, and I have been addicted to racing simulators ever since.

Bought my first wheel with PCars 1 which was a Thrustmaster T80. Had nothing, no FFB, barely any degree of rotation, and no adjustability. Ran with that for over a year, then finally jumped to the Thrustmaster T300 I have now. I will most likely continue down the rabbit hole as now I want to move to a Fanatec wheel and pedals.

Yeah i picked up the G29 because i didnt want to drop tgt/fanatec cash on something i never tried before. Now i have this wheel though im am leaning to make the leap or heavily mod the g29 as i wont use a controller again to race.

Is there anyway that the name SNAIL can be removed from this league? I race in another PCars league on Wednesday and I guess I'll just have to ditch this league if it gets moved to Wednesday over some stupid GT Sport arcade simulator.

This was my fastest run on Sunday at the Lone Pine Time Trials.

Somehow it looks faster in real life than p2. Nice!. It looked like your car accelerates faster than on a game.
A aww crap I just realized,.. going on vacation in two weeks. I shoulda run the camaro, no sense saving it. I've only got two more races to run.

I am confirmed for this Thursday as well.

I am down to run a practice lobby tomorrow evening. Just not sure who wants in?

Out of curiosity this too much like what 90% of the tracks are new to me so i grinded at least 100 laps on it. Ran a PB of 2:04.8. How close to pace is this? Id like to stay on the lead lap tomorrow ha

In my first practice session over the weekend I was running 2:01:0xx's

@HazardLvL4 thanks thats quite the pace.

To be fair, as we saw at Road America, car selection will play a roll into the overall laptime, since some of the cars on that list maybe better suited for this circuit than others.

Yeah i practiced against the camaros and ferraris AI at 100/50 i was able to beat them. They had the straightline speed again but not enough that into braking i was able to close them. They too ran 2:04-2:06 so their bad judgment at the hairpins probably was my saving grace.

About to run one myself now. Should we post what car we driving when we confirm ?

No, you don't have to post the car you plan on driving tonight if you don't want. However, if you want to share you are more then welcome.

Will the mustang hang at this track?

To be honest broski, I didn't consider the Mustang for Rouen Les Essarts Short. I wanted to go with something that had better handling, or at least handling that suited my tastes. Thus, I tested the Jaguar, a week ago, just out of curiosity at Rouen, and I didn't like how the front end pushed due to all the weight up front. Then I tried the Ferrari 365, and it was much better, thus, I have settled on using the Ferrari for this race tonight. The Mustang I will bring back for Oulton Park.

So here is my actual thought process for my personal car choices this season:

Road America - 66' Mustang RTR
Rouen Les Essarts - Ferrari 365 GTB4
Laguna SECA - Porsche Carrera
Oulton Park - 66' Mustang RTR (However, want to run some test laps with the Nissan as well)
BRNO - Ferrari 365 GTB4

*NOTE - The Mustang is worth considering though, cause it has rear downforce adjust-ability
