Scratch my idea of hosting the last couple races. I most likely won't have internet turned back on for the last race.
I'm moving a couple streets over and have to be out by the first of the month.
Maybe I'll catch you guys online at some point.
Not to brag, but I think @yogi bear and I picked very good cars this season, best car choices so far.

I agree on the car choices. They are pretty competitive with one another. Of course in the Wednesday league we tried to find two cars for each group that would be competitive for the first 3 seasons. Only other combo I have seen that was as competitive as these cars were the Group A BMW and the Touring Car BMW. Always cool to have two different cars that are somewhat competitive with each other

The car choices are great, It's that I have been running this thing for 2 years now and have only missed an handful of days in that time including the off weeks. Even when I didn't host I still have a bunch of off track league stuff to take care of. I just need a break, I have a ton of projects around the house I need to finish and it is getting overwhelming. We will be back in September better than ever.

Hello Guys,

It probably comes as no surprise that Hazard and I have been a bit burned out running the PITs League. I have been running PITs non stop since June 2016 and Hazard since Zii left a year ago. We are going to take a much needed break and regroup. We will start a new season (Season 8) starting September 6th using all of your awesome car choices and perhaps with a bit of a change to the format. Thank you all for being part of PITs and we look forward to seeing you all back in September.

@Stanc03, no, @Alex ONeill and myself are taking our hiatus, effective immediately. We are taking a break due to being burnt out from never taking a real break from running the league, personal stuff in our respective lives right now that need tending to, and wanting to do a proper restructure of the format to make the league more appealing moving forward. We, of course, will still be active in the thread for anyone who posts ideas regarding things they would like to see in an ideal league.

Are you serious right now I’m working 10-12 hours a day and I have stuff I need to take care of for my families well being. Your right, it is just a game and real life is real life. Family comes first and if I’m tired and burned out and need a break to get stuff in my real life taken care of I’ll take one when ever I want. I held back and didn’t say anything before and I really don’t want to talk about real world issues on a public form. Your comments are not helping anything and I would very much appreciate if you just stopped.

Never mind your real life. Get the hell back and run the league, or you won't be paid...you may even get fired!.....
Oh ...wait, you're not being paid, you're voluntarily running the league, you can't fire volunteers.... dam!

I had an idea to fill the gap on Thursdays if its cool as i rather enjoy the racing with this group. My idea is to host or someone else hosts doesnt matter but do a funrun with a 30min qually 1 hour race.
How the combo is picked (host not included)
first to arrive chooses the car
Second to arrive gets track choice
Third to arrive weather/date.
All progression set to 1x(real)
Lobby opens at 830est

Something along these lines anyone interested in this?

I will be taking August off, bought an rv lot near banff, will be busy building a deck, gazebo, storage shed, etc.
And I move slower these days and take more breaks.
 
Hey guys im looking to start a league on sunday nights. If anyone is looking for another series to run. It will be a one make no tune series(aka OMNI league). Lmk with a message if you want to join thanks

ND to answer @TVV0_ prob not the best idea to start a league within a league. We can casually race on Sundays until we restart or just put it as the pits race lobby. But let's not make anything official

I have a seperate thread setup just spreading the word in all the pcars2 threads im in if its an issue i do apologize and can remove it. After Gts just adds old cars and fake tracks kind of done with it on sundays

You have made a post within each league that you would like to have something on Sunday nights.....which doesnt hurt this league, my league, Lobbans league or any other league on here. You were just trying to get the word out to the people you like to race with. I dont see you stepping on anyone's toes big guy. Thanks for letting us know. It's possible I could have some free Sunday evenings. I'll look for your thread

Thanks @The__Camel thats really all i was looking to do. I guess it didnt occur to me that it could be frowned upon. Not trying to trespass on any other league cause hey im in them haha :)

Just to chip in, I take my hat off to guys who run leagues who make all kind of sacrifices organising these things and making themselves available on these nights for us to join in and have fun. I can well imagine it's no easy task.
As I've told Lobbie and Aero back in Lobanaro league a couple times aready it's easy enough for us guys to slip in whenever it suits us but it's the organisers who make the most sacrifices so cheers to you guys.
So do what you must Alex and Hazard, take your well deserved break and come back fresh as a wink.

Hey Guys,

We have put everything together to start the next season on September 6th!! We have made changes to the way the league is run and the structure as well. We will now be running actual weather for the day we are racing as well as implementing a yellow flag caution period. We have also added an additional series that will run concurrently with our regular series. This new series will be an 8 race season with one race every 6 weeks.

Hope to see you all back for the new season, please let us know if you intend to race by confirming.
