Hi,
can somene help advise how I can setup a race so that Pitstops occur for everycar?, I'd like to do this for online and Arcade.

Many Thanks

In both Online and Arcade you can select "Tire Wear and Fuel Consumption." Then people would be advised to pit for longer races.

What do you mean "pit stops occur for ever car"? Not all cars need to pit at the same time.

You just have to set the race up for enough laps to cause the cars to need a tire change or re-fuel. It differs according to the track. On Nurburgring it may be 6 or so laps on Daytona Speedway you may need to make it 40 or so. The AI cars will run as long as they can before they pit so when racing AI if you pit at the half way point you will have a big advantage on the next few laps before the AI pits.

Ok thanks...I just want to ensure every car pits during the race unlike the nasty bug in F1 2010. BTW - How will I know how many laps require a pitstop? so if I set a race up at the Autumn Ring, how many laps will be needed before a pitstop is neccessary?

Thanks

10 to 15 lap races with the limit of sports softs.

If people decide to take the softs they gonna need to pit between lap 6/8 generally with 500 hp cars. Makes for very good ballanced races if people decide to take hards.

Try it for example on high speed ring, 10 laps, pagani zonda R as only selectable car.
If the pubbies are smart, they're gonna pit, if they're not, you pit halfway and fly past them while they struggle to keep the car on track in the last laps.

For a starter, try to get rid of race tyres, they're no good for such races, because they're unrealistic...
