Platinum trophy finally!

If you aren't using a wheel for the vettel challenge, you might as well hang it up. I tried with a controller and couldn't even bronze it. my DFGT is the force behind my platinum and golding these challenges.

I managed to gold them with DS3 a few weeks after the patch but its still very difficult...

only 400cars,Air of experience and gold standard left for my platnum (havnt done 24HR Bspec endurances yet)

I thought the nurb trophy with the GTR was a little weird. I was about 15 seconds off when I did tried it first, completed one lap and left it, for later I said to myself. I came back about a weak or two later and got it really easy, 3rd time, first two had red times. I'm currently doing the "Air of experience", X1 and Bob in the clubman championship, over and over and over, another 300 to go........ ah! Do you have a better way, really bored!!!

I did the clubman race at autumn mini....the first b spec race...over and over till I got it. I ended up getting it around 500 wins, when my drivers skill started to decline...took me all night one night and really pissed me off but hey, it was worth it.

As far as the x1 user challenge, I just get ridiculed to the point of no end so screw those idiots, I got may platinum. What's it to me? LOL. And yes anyone who needs help on any trophies, I am more than willing to help, just ask questions! :)

yeah I have a question, and congrats on the platinum by the way. how do you get the air of experience one? I dont know how to do that :S
 
500 offline bspec days for your oldest driver.

IMO, that's the dumbest trophy in the game. Really baffles me why they wanted an achievement like that but it is also one of the most time consuming trophies to get. Wait till you get over 1000 cars and it takes a year to load up your garage :(
 
I've got 1018 cars, 14 doubles, it takes about 7 or 8 seconds for the standards to load, probably about 10 seconds or so for the garage to load from GTLife. I think this is one of those 1.10 things, where by only a few people get these anoying things happen to them. I assume you've got the game installed. I've got a launch weak Fatty PS3 by the way.
 
160gb uncharted edition. I wish it was bc. Sarcasm....it only takes a few seconds ( yes game installed on hd) but still a lot longer than before 1.10 for sure.
 
Mine is now actually alot quicker, it had been very slow since 1.10, to load everything, now it takes a long time to load the game from the xmb and the garage loads alot better, but I know what your getting at, if something doesn't load up straight away, which should, its fairly annoying, those few wasted seconds. Guess it's just one of those things you've got to put up with.

I'm pretty sure they did makee the X1 easier to drive in the challenge on some update, I tried it yesterday after 5 months and golded it with just two tries with really awful laps, compared to how hard it was even when I had every inch of the challenge memorized, it still took more than a few tries to beat Suzuka back then for example. Now it doesn't require much steering input to turn the car wherever you want it to turn, and the lower feedback makes it less painful on the wrists.

what they did was to add that Controller sensitivity option. (it only made the Vettel challenge easier for DS users)

Ik got it a while back... made me happy :D
Got to a 1000 cars by grinding the A-spec race with the X2010.
Then, I was done.... no more races to do... 1300+ cars in my garage...
Now what?
So 2 weeks ago I started over, this time making it more fun by shutting down all aids and hud, and do manual shifting inside cockpit view only ;)
 
Finaly, I've just got my Platinium Trophy this afternoon. It was fun and it was challenging.

I have 2 more redbulls as a tickets in my garage :)
 
Congrats! Now celebrate! I think I am still a little under the weather from getting mine...LOL
