I was pleasantly surprised today when I got the platinum trophy, I didn't expect to be getting it since I passed on the drifting portion of the game.
I won't get 100% but oh well.

Yeah, the drifting events are not remotely interesting to me, although at least in real life, it takes talent to be good at it.
I wish they had put more Series races in the game and boxed up the drift stuff into another game... they could've called it NFS Shift Drift! Oh God I kill me....

I'm still working on the Platinum Trophy.... congrats on yours!

That was one thing I liked about this game. It didn't force you to do everything. It let you choose what you wanted to do to platinum it.

Think I ended up getting mine by skipping drifting and getting all the stars. Instead relied on winning online on each track, overtaking, mastering all corners. Can't remember what else unfortunately as it was a few months ago.

I won the NFS championship without doing any drift races. Every other NFS racing game I have had......almost all of them, the drifting was always great and tons of fun. This game, I can not drift at all using the keyboard as my controller so I chose not to race them. I also did very few of the head to head races when they have you chose your car. The default settings on the vehicles supplied I cant drive. My favorite weapon is still the GTR-V Works version. Not great top spead but I catch them in the corners. The Ring and SPA are tough with such long straights as I only reach about 141 mph with the ass dragging on the road and I run 30/32 on aero setup. The Zonda F is fun but difficult to control with the keyboard through the corners with any speed.
