I'm not registered on that site. Yet my profile appears on there in the Platinum GT5ers...

Someone just needs to enter PSN ID in that website and you then have an account on there. Going by your view count, someone must have entered your ID on it.

They have a statistic on there showing as 25% people who are on PSN Profiles and own GT5, have got 100% trophy completion.

To be honest, if you can work out why the Endurance one hasn't pinged, you've done the hard part. You're just left with a couple of photos, a 2P race you can do on your own and lapping Daytona in a kart...

Fewer than 2,000 people have platinumed GT5, of the millions that bought it...

ght, after analysing my GT5 trophy collection, these are the ones preventing me from the Platinum:

Course Designer
Dream Drifter
Data Analyst
Driving Music
Within One Hundreth
Arch Rivals
GT-R Official Record
The Air of Experience (even tho my Bob is 40 level...)
Penniless
Hidden Trophy
Hidden Trophy

So still a while to go. Any advice on some of the nasty ones? :)

Start here.

Since 'gold standard' is not on your list, I am going to assume you have golded the vettel challenge and won all of the events etc.
Most of the trophies you list are pretty straight forward, the hidden ones are probably the photo mode related trophies.
Air of experience takes time, because it relates to the number of offline races (~500) your most experienced bob has been alive for, nothing to do with his level.
Famine's trophy guide that I linked explains them all pretty well for you.

The only one on your list that requires driving skill is the GT-R Official Record. It is run on the Nordschliefe and requires fast and precise driving. Not as tough as the Lambo Nordschliefe Seasonal but not trivial.

The simpliest way to get "Penniless" is to max your credits at 20,000,000 and then buy one of the 20,000,000 cars.

"Within 100th" is sort of tricky to set up. I finally accomplished it on the recent Seasonal at Indy. I got the lead just before the finish line and then slowed slightly in front of 2nd. He came up on my bumper as we crossed the line and I got the trophy.
 
I checked my trophies last night and didn't realise I only need 2 for Platinum... 'Air of Experience' and the 'win by 0.01'.

I think I can manufacture the win by 0.01, but is the Air of Experience just a matter of endlessly griding Tsukuba in the X1 to get the requisite number of races? I have a driver with an experience bar around 60% full... it's very boring!

I've heard by doing the Tsukuba beginners event repeatedly, will bring your Bob's bar up quicker, so what are you waiting for? :lol:

That's what I thought.. reckon I have about 200 races to run at c.3 mins to run/re-start.

Not sure if I have the patience to bother, but we'll see how it goes.
 
I've always wondered where I ranked, thanks for the link Famine! I thought 'for sure' I was in the top 50 but, I'll take top 100; 72nd person to get platinum, first 'GTP'er too, not bad since I've always had a full time job :) But no kids either, haha.

Confirming that the PSNProfile is not 100% accurate as it does not reflect all players.

Mine was not showing yesterday till I actually logged into it today.
Now it shows 2,173 = Wine_0o @ page 44.

Spent a little time browsing it and could not find my other 3 PSN accounts for GT5 either.

Having to drive that race 500 times yourself?
At least you can read, watch TV etc between bouts of X, X, down, X, X

Yeah, that's a real pain... would be easier if it was just XXXXX rather than having to have press 0 as well, then I could run it off screen whist watching TV, safe in the knowledge I hadn't hit the wrong button at the wrong time.

Up to c.70% now, only another 150 or so trips round Tsukuba in the X1 to go.

Manged to get the win by 0.01 trophy tonight... Sunday Cup, Tsukuba, in a high power car... took a few attempts, but eventually won by 0.008 :D

Also noticed I hadn't got the Gold Standard trophy... took me ages to find a solitary B spec race that was only bronze (gold and bronze look the same on the crappy TV in the serviced apartment I'm staying in during the week)... so ticked that one off too.

Just the Air of Experience left... only around 3 hours of xxxoxx to Platinum :)
