I was wondering is anyone could explain the difference between the GT3 A spec and the GT3 A spec platinum version?

I am planning to get GT3 and am wondering what one to get.

cheers

Dylan

i was wondering, cos they are selling the two versions side by side at a games shop near where i live. one costs 17.99 (platinum) and the other ones £35

I think they brought platinum out cause GT3 is still a good game, and so they could sell some more copies of it when they lowered the price. They give it it the name platinum. They do it to other games too, not only with GT3.

I believe the 'Platinum' series is just like the 'Greatest Hits' line on PS1. No major differences in the game (maybe bug fixes), less $$$. Surprised they're doing it with GT3 so soon, though.

games go platinum after they sell a certain amount of copies for that game.

the platinum series just came out a little while ago for PS2....
they were probally side by side because there are still copies of the original GT3, there not just gonna throw em away l guess

the other platinum games for ps2 are Tekken tag, f1 2001, Gt3 and Dead or Alive 2

Get the cheap one, because there is no difference in the game - just the packing. That way you possibly can afford an extra memory card, for backup, and settings + replay files :)
