Play.com confusion

Just got my copy this morning :-)

I can't see how it can be over-ordering because I ordered mine in February. If the early people got theirs on time, but the late comers got theirs later it would make more sense.

If you don't get a reply to your e-mail from Play, I'd suggest phoning. E-mails are not guaranteed delivery and ma get chucked out as SPAM.

I'm off to install and enjoy :-)
 
Those of you who have received your copies today can make a great use of the install and then (rather large) update time by calling play while you wait!

The more people that call them, the more notice they will take. The more people that mention this thread means that we're more likely to get the response from them thay we want. Even if that is just a proper apology from the play.com management it's better than £3 off a game that i don't intend on pre-ordering anyway!
 
I Brought mine from Sainsburys. Today my Play copy came and i took it to sainsbury's with my receipt and got my money back:sly:
 
Nothing from play.com here as yet ... lucky I bought from Gamestation on Saturday, but the service with play is ridiculous and they will be getting loads off me when I phone them in about 5 minutes 👎
 
Well, I'm in total shock here, my copy of GT5P was in my mailbox when I arrived home from work just now. Did I mention I live in Vermont, USA? How it got here before you folks got yours is beyond me.
 
Still nothing from play.com at my house ... They said on the phone since my order was sent out on the 26th of March then I will have to wait until the 16th April .. which is 21 days after and they will either refund or resend 👎 what a load of crap! I bet the bloomin postman has a PS3 and enjoying himself with my damn game :rolleyes:
 
I got my game 3 days after the day it came out from Play.com even though I placed a pre-order...I'll be sticking that copy on eBay or selling it to a friend though as I bought another copy the day after release from Currys in store for the same price.
