There are much greater causes worth protesting than someone's dissatisfaction with a device of entertainment and amusement. There's people starving, dying from disease, or dealing with civil wars in their countries.
There was a freakin Tsunami that is still being cleaned up in Japan. Yea... It definitely looks good for a bunch of white people to travel to Japan to protest a video game.
Exactly
Indeed. And protests DO work. Ask Mubarak. Or Khadaffi. Whoops - can't ask him anymore!
Maybe ask Citibank or Netflix - both announced changes in their fees, and both suffered massive protests and had to cancel their plans.
But going on strike against Gran Turismo? I think I'll pass.
Be sure to let us know when the strike is, though - it might be easier to get online and race then!![]()
For every successful protest, there are hundreds that go without results or merit. How much have those Occupy morons accomplished in the months their nonsense has gone on? How much change has come from the actions of PETA, WBC, ELF, ALF, or any other group?

We'll get the Aventador, that awesome track and more.
Strike? No, thanks!
Again, I really do not want to sound either rude or play smart.
First I kindly ask you to contextualize something before presenting your subjective opinion as an universal fact.
Second, it would be really constructive to this particular conversation if you would check some of the presumptions you're presenting before making them foundation for your claims.
Third, everybody would benefit if you would inform yourself about widely established facts and figures prior to introducing them as an indisputable leverage to something you think is correct.
Thank you in advance.
sdfBy far the most stupid thread ever made.
1st of all PD isnt obligated to deliver anything new.
That they have a totally different perspective over their creation and they like to evolve it a step at a time isnt a reason to protest or blackmail them.
Yes the game had some major flaws when it was released and yes there are still some things missing but that doesn't gives you the right to blackmail them or to protest against them....and one of the many reasons is, that you dont pay taxes to PDI.
2nd No one forced you to buy this game or even play it.
3rd you knew what you were buying.
4th Any chance of working at Sony or PD? No you dont.
4.1 Do you have any idea in what they are working on? No you dont
4.2 Do you know their schedule? No you dont
4.3 Have they gave they impression that they are lazy? No they havent.
4.4 Have they proven that they are listening to the fans? Yes they have.
&
5th Last but not least....for the only thing that you can blame PD is that they have spoiled some non-brainers by constantly updating the game even after tsunamis, earthquakes, radioactive disasters, PSN outage....up to the point that every blithering idiot thinks that PD is their very own bloody servant.
sebbyd86I'm not the only one who wants these, plus half of what I have mentioned can be done fairly easy with the team they have and would be a great addition in there next update. Does any one know if PD reads the forums on this site? Where do they read there fans feedback?
sebbyd86We should set a date for all of us not to play Gran Turismo 5 at all online or the special events for a day or two maybe a week to get the attention of PD. This is so that when PD look at there servers they will see a massive drop of users not playing and would wonder why.
I think we need to be more demanding for what we would like and not let PD keep delivering new content they think we would like. I'm not saying I don't enjoy the fresh DLC's every now and again but PD should finish the game by increase the levels more, the types of races and not just in special events, more championships for all types of racing, previous tracks from all GT's (including the one on PSP) that are not included in GT5. The other Forumla 1 cars and not just the 2 Ferrari's.
More damage on the vehicles. Fix the headlights on standard cars for when driving at night. Have more weather conditions and applied to all tracks and allow all tracks to be able to drive at night including the night tracks to day. Weather conditions could be applied in real time for the world tracks using maybe Yahoo weather api.
Allow computer cars to be driving with you on two player in Arcade mode. Arcade should allow you to use all your cars from your garage and not just the 100 added favourites. Player two should be able to sign into there PSN account to access there cars they have in there garage from there profile. For this function to work PD will have to synchronize your profile online to there servers as an xml file or something to which can be temporary downloaded for when player two logins in the Arcade mode.
I'm sure there is more to be added that is not that should be. So I will leave you all to post your replies.
P.S. When do you think we should on go on Play Strike?
