i tried searching here and web but no luck. wondering if anyone knows off hand if there is a list of real seats(sparco,corbeau) that will fit easily on a playseat or if some sort of mod needs to be done, drilling or other. thanks
anyone? got a chance to get a playseat evo real cheap. had one before but found the seat uncomfortable and would like to swap them out. im sure its doable i just want to know how complicated it is or if there is a specific seat that lines up perfectly. thanks
I thought the seat was rather comfortable even after 1-hr of usage. I had more of an issue w/the vertical wheel bracket in between my legs than the seat itself.
Get a seat from the wrecking yard with the tracks to move it fore and aft. Bolt a flat plate to playseat drill and mount the car seat...Thinking of doing this to the Obutto if the right one comes my way. The seat now is still very nice but surely it is going to get worn at one point. The best seat would be a cooler type seat I sweat alot during races something with AC built in..
I was lucky to pick up a cheap playseat evo recently but the seat was all scratched up and didnt really like them so I swapped it out with a Bride Low Max seat. Installation was easy since the mounting holes on the Bride and the playseat lined up with each other and all I had to do was get some mounting brackets from home depot for like $15. Will post some pics when I get home tonight.
please do^^^^^!!! i am in the exact same boat as you except i just dont like the playseat seat. too uncomfortable. i dont want that to get in the way of gt5.

also, did what kind of paint would you use to repaint? have you thought about it. im def considering it. i really like the black frame look on the alcantara playseat evo. any thoughts?
Not sure how much it weighs but its really light. I didnt repaint my frame since I didnt want to go through the trouble of painting it so I just sanded it down and polished it up. I'm really liking the chrome look

Does anyone knows if it's possible to change the colour in these bucket seats? i have found a used Sparco similar to ILL250's Bride but it's black and i wanted a red one, can you swap the cloth?
