The launch lineup is beginning to look pretty weak if the Drive Club rumour is true, certainly in terms of exclusives. All the more reason never to buy a console at launch IMO.

I don't know if it might be better than GTA, it might not, but it certainly adds something new to the gameplay.

I agree with you, game's list is being weaken every day now. If Assassin's Creed 4 for some reason also would be delayed on PS4 then only rational option for potential buyers is KillZone and BattleField I don't like shooters like this, much more prefer Bioshock and Metro 2033 climate.

Maybe it's the best time to re-consider purchasing PS4 and push money towards GT6, Beyond Two Souls, WRC 4. Buying PS4 with titles like Metal Gear Solid 5, WatchDogs is more reasonable solution.
 
If we do not hear from Sony today saying that #DRIVECLUB is not delayed then I assume that the rumours are true. Companies are usually eager to put such rumours to rest if they are not true.

Should it transpire that #DRIVECLUB is now a 2014 game I will be disappointed as I am looking forward to it but there is still plenty that I am interested in - Battlefield 4 and Killzone Shadow Fall while NFS Rivals will replace #DC.
 
For me, there is nothing interesting enough to warrant a PS4 purchase this year with those sad news. I will never buy an EA game again, so no NFS, Killzone, Battlefield, Sports Games or Knack dont interest me. So I ll delay my PS4 purchase until #DC, Watch Dogs and The Crew will be out.

It is already weak but I think they'll make up for the delays if true. Sony has many studios developing games for their console.

You should know from seeing the word properly that there was a previous time on 28nm and that's what I'm talking about and thus aware they already use 28nm.. It's very basic comprehension.

So now I finaly get it.
Clearly over 30% increase (about 30-40%) compared to the previous generation is a small increase and Hawaii is going to deliver a much bigger performance increase than those pathetic 30+%. 👍

AMD didn't do well when they should have going from 40nm to 28nm.

I agree, 1/3 better performance sucks.

AMD are going to correct things soon somewhat. Point is this crop isn't that good and unfortunately rare for this to happen.

None of those studios can suddenly rush their upcoming title just because another one is being delayed though, so what do you mean "they'll make up for the delays" ?

I don't recall Sony making up for all the times GT5 was delayed, so why would they now all of a sudden?

I think Sony will make up for any delays post launch with other games being presented.

Sony did make up for delay of GT5 look at all updates game received and look at all the extra challenges, time trials, DLC, bonus cars, race tracks. Game is big 👍 It's really developers fault that game is delayed, not sony. So if developer of WatchDogs want to apologies for delay they could but not necessary add some free DLC or what ever they think. It's their sale gonna suffer because during launch day customer decided to go with different game. Me for example. There is no where said that i would buy WatchDogs anytime in the future or ever. I just need to have decent game to play on PS4 until big games start appear on ps4
 
What Strittan was saying was Sony didn't push any new games into the gap created by GT5 being delayed, all of those things were released after GT5 was released.

Perhaps you'd like to tell us what Sony released as an apology for GT5 being dropped from that month's release schedule?
 
It's not like anyone suffer some injuries from GT5 being delayed, does it ? Of felt chest pains, or had a flue. :crazy: So why this is so much big problem all of the sudden? They give us a date and can't deliver it, so nothing happen, i betting 1.000.000 $ an asteroid won't hit earth that day 💡

If anyone going to feel headache it's sony Chairman because PS4 sales drops slightly due to fact customers can't find game to play it.

Any one want's to guess what is the official PS4 price in Brazil ?? 1800$

I have now serious reason to believe that Xbox One is going to sell it self better than PS4. Not like i do care about that. But for some people Xbox launch library might seems more extensive. With Forza 5 being number ONE priority.

2013 belongs to PS3, 2014 should be PS4 year of great games.

Glad they added contrast to the instant game collection. I'm looking forward to that one. Since driveclub and watchdogs are delayed, I think I'll buy Killzone. I'll be downloading super motherload too. I am a little disappointed about driveclub and watchdogs, but you don't buy a console for one day. The PS3 had a terrible launch lineup but that's a distant memory. I'll also have gta5, gt6 and arkham origins to keep me busy while I'm waiting for the second wave of ps4 games.

On the bright side, with dark souls 2 on current gen and all the great PS4 games releasing in the first half of next year, it's looking like a great year for games.

Exactly, I'm getting PS4 day one but that decision is based on the future, not the day one releases.
 
Seeing as Driveclub is delayed, I thinking about getting either Call of Duty Ghosts or FIFA 14. I'm not a massive COD fan or FIFA fan, but I really enjoyed the FIFA 14 demo. So, which one should I get?

If it was me making that decision, I would most probably choose FIFA over COD, as I have next to no enthusiasm for COD now, as I have just burned the series out. And let's face it, It's unlikely to be much different to all of the COD titles before it, however the same could be said by many for FIFA 14 as well.

That being said, I have been watching various next-gen footage of FIFA and I have to say that it looks very good indeed. The visuals look impressive, from the crowds animations to the details of the stadia and the pitch. But then again, I'm not massively hyped by either, but if I had to choose a bundle containing one of these, it would be FIFA 👍

You could go NBA 2K14, that looks next gen and is different!

FIFA looks just like any other Fifa but I guess if you enjoyed the demo it's the sane option.

It partially is. While it's true that a large portion of that price will go to the Brazilian government, the xbone is considerably cheaper (but still outrageously expensive) than the ps4 in Brazil.

They produced 360s in Brazil, they most likely do/will produce the Xbox One in Brazil as well.
