Okay, so they "unveiled" the PlayStation 4 today.

But, we have absolutely no idea what it looks like and the pricing of it? I guess I shouldn't be surprised. It's Sony, after all...

Anyway, what I can remember from the press conference:
x86 CPU with 8 cores
GPU with 2+ teraFLOPS of performance
8 GB GDDR5 RAM
Mechanical HDD

EDIT: I also found it pretty funny that the guy talking about DriveClub spent almost five minutes talking about how obsessively detailed their cars are, yet they looked worse than the Gran Turismo 5 Prologue car models from five years ago running on worse hardware.

EDIT2: I also forgot to mention that the CPU and GPU is on a single die, so they have a bandwidth of 176 GBps or however it works...

[fanboy]You forgot more powerful than the Xbox "720"[/fanboy]

Anyway, these consoles being as powerful as they are is useless seeing as how publishers barely give the time needed to the devs now to make a single decent game. Next gen will be a nightmare of big games with massive glitches everywhere.

The PS4 graphical ability will be identical to the PS3. We are at THE limit of graphics with current consoles now. All that's ahead is games get bigger with more content.
