Yup the decent mod-chips are expensive, mine cost me about £80 for a messiah 2. With shipping costs included.

Although if you've watched the Japanese version of the Anime, I don't think you will like the translated version. They stupifyed it a bit too much and they took the decent music out of it.
 
Hmmm Japanese version would probs best suit me then, shame Mod chips are so expensive & such a git to install (My Uncles whos an electrician fitted my PSX one) + game would probs cost 40quid or so from ebay :(

Still I'll probs get a mod chip one day anyway. :)
 
although this isnt the right place to post this but just out of curiosity does anybody now how the coin slot on arcades machine work?? , is it by weight or size?? or both??

I have a feeling he wants to trick the arcade machine by attaching something to the coin, so when the credits are registered, he can pull the coin out and keep getting credits?

Although that's such an old trick I doubt any arcade will fall for it.

what an old scam!! this trick doesn't even work anymore... i've seen people do it, but their string or whatever are always caught and they can't pull it out!! :lol:

EDIT: funniest thing is to scare them while they're doing it! haha. it freaks them out so badly, they lose the coin sometimes, and then they realize it's just you :p
 
It could be that, god knows.

He could be planning to raid all his local arcades coin containers for all we know. :D
 
Has anyone beat bunta in story mode? I can't seem to keep up with him, and I don't hit anything.
 
I've beaten him in the Arcade mode, but i'm still stuck on that stupid mission in the RX-7 where you have to pass the guy in the last sector in the story mode.

Sometimes I find if you try too hard not to hit the walls you end up going slower. A little rub on the wall during the exit isn't that bad.

agreed, even if you hit.. sometimes it gets faster..... cuz you can maintain a speed.. but i don't mean "straight deadon crash" to the rails, but like a light, faint, minor meet with the rail and keep going. :)
 
My friend has a version of SS on CD-R, it has no intro (just some wierd thing with Dante from devil may cry in it :odd: ) all the speach and music sound like crap. Thank god mine is an actual DVD.

Oh and I have another car now, the Evo 3.

Bloody awesome, I can't wait to get the anti-lag (bang bang) system for it. :D

I've only heard people who've watched Initial D refer to it as misfiring system. From reading various car mags and watching the WRC it's always refered to as ALS (Anti-Lag-system), or bang bang.

Ahh, I always get stuck when I face Keisuke (is that how you spell it?) I don't think I have ever beaten him first time. I find his brother much easier.
